A pleasing view created by the river and the wild nature around, the great service provided by the restaurant staff, along with the tasty dishes they cook, are a perfect trio to describe this place

Stopped by for a coffee but ended up with a meal which was excellent. A menu with many traditional Albanian dishes. A popular stopover along the road to Librazhd and Pogradec, for the restrooms, a coffee or a meal. Ample free parking, outdoor seating and very cozy indoor area . The name "Gjantari" means "hunter" as the proprietor is supposedly one. Expect to see wild game on the menu at certain times of the year. Love the rustic feel of the restaurant.

I could say, once out of Tirana east direction, this is the best please to stop for breakfast, lunch or dinner, until you arrive in Pogradec.
I frequented this place first time more than 20 years ago, and almost always stop here for meal!

It’s the second time I have been there … as always great service , good prices and good food .. while waiting for your food you can walk by the river where the view is amazing .. I recommend this restaurant if you are on the way to Korca and or continuing further your trip to FYR of Macedonia

Food is great, placed outside near the river. From the table is less than 4/5 feet away. Reminder: order the food from the local region, the menu is short, order as it is. There is no tap water. The water they serve is diractly from the source.
There is still room for improvement. But overall a good experience.

The best part here is the fact they have plenty of seats next to the river, which you can actually come down to and enjoy real close

Wonderful experience here, perfect distance pit stop from Tirana to Korça. Great atmosphere and delicious food with wonderful service and reasonable prices.

I really enjoyed this place! Everything was tasty and fresh… I was a little bummed out that one of the meat choices was over (the one I really wanted) but the replacement I got was pretty good too. The service was quick and friendly enough to feel comfortable. I’ll go back again!

The atmosphere is great. Right next to the river, beautiful views. A great stop on the way to explore Albania. Tasty food too.

The food was AMAZING. I would definitely recommend the fries, and the sour cream pan with beef was also good.

We were very happy that we stopped by. The food is amazing, service is very professional and the waiters talk english. The price is unbeatable. We paid 15 euros for 2 people, we couldn't have eaten more.

This restaurant deserves 5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐🥂. I could eat here every night, Excellent service and food. The staff greets you with smile. They always make my family and I feel very welcome🤗.
The food is ALWAYS perfect and I can't stop myself from eating it! 😁 They serve large portions so I always end up talking some home. The price is unbeatable for the quality that they serve you. I definitely recommend this great restaurant for you and your family. 😊🥰

It's always nice to stop by this location every time we travel southeast past Elbasan city. Breakfast, lunch, and coffee are all delicious and pretty cheap. Great spot located on the riverbank of Shkumbin river which makes for a perfect photography session. Would recommend to all who have never been there yet.

A warm and cozy restaurant. The staff is very welcoming and polite. The food is delicious and they also come with reasonable prices! 10/10.

It was on the way from Korca to Tirana we stop there for an early lunch we had lamb on the spit fresh rocket salad and house wine it was all delicious and the service very good and kind should not forget that the price was very reasonable

Definitely a must stop place on the way to your destination. Very fast service, delicious food and really nice place. The river at the restaurant's windows is awesome. You wished you could stay there all day long. The staff is friendly. The prices are pretty reasonable. Would recommend it from the early mornings till late afternoons

Breakfast is served until 11.30 and have a different menu. Keep on mind that portions are so big that 2 people can share each hot plate for breakfast. Great value for money!
