Boga Alpine Resort - Camping Albania / B&B (Way to Theth)

I stayed in a bungalow, and it was lovely. Every morning you wake up and you see the mountains around you,
The bungalow is just a tiny room, there is just a bed, and you will share the bathrooms outside.
Service was nice food was tasty 😋
The location is good for hikers, how want to stay like a transit, and who want to stay to relax and read.

We stayed in the 2-person bungalow. Its cozy and small, just perfect for a bed a some space to store your bags. Bathrooms and toilets are all nearby. We always had warm water, but the hygienics were oke. The family who runs this place is very helpful and friendly. Just ask anything and they will try to arrange it. The restaurant was quite good. Nice variety and affordable. We recommend this location for hiking in the area of Theth.

An absolute recommendation. Have been two nights in one of the small Houses (beware: It's definitely small. Just a bed! 😊). It is simple but good. The hosts are super nice. The small pool is nice but cold, so you only might enjoy it when it's warm. We have been there on rainy days with 18°C which was more of a free cryotherapy😁)

Also the restaurant is a big bonus, because it's fresh, tasty and has a good price. Also they are very flexible and you can ask for everything even if it is not on the menu. If they can do it - they will. Also have various vegan options: Salads, anti pasti, pasta and risotto, fries,... . All vegan, if you want.
Definitely try the home made raki, it is the best I had so far 👍
Sanitary facilities could be cleaner or maybe cleaned more often, but in a way it will not lower the review!

We received a very warm welcome. Everything is very clean and in good condition. There is also a small outdoor kitchen with gas stoves, where you can prepare something yourself. Even though that doesn't really make sense, because the food in the restaurant is excellent. 😉

Good views. Kind and helpful staff. Clean rooms, and relatively clean bathrooms. Great food in the mornings and evenings. There is an option to wash clothes for 4 €.

We absolutely loved this campsite and stayed for nearly two weeks! Incredible location with great walks, the guys even arrange a food shop for us so we could stay longer. Easily accessible in a large motorhome. We went into the National Park for 2 night, which is a very windy road but easy enough to do in our large 6 berth camper.

The location is great, the view is very nice, you get enough of fresh air. The owner is interested and helpful. He sincerely told us about the places we can walk nearby and historical information about the region. There is a cave formation with a very beautiful view nearby, which can be reached in 20 minutes on foot.

Very nice and lovingly maintained small campsite on the way to Theth National Park. We were very impressed by the impressive mountain landscape. The camp is a good way to escape the hustle and bustle of the national park. In about an hour's drive you can go for a day trip to Theth. The road is a bit demanding with its serpentines and its narrow path.

Lovely place, lovely rooms and most of all: lovely hosts. We stayed there for one night but I got sick and the hosts brought me water and a hot water bottle. They also let us stay spontaneously one night more and the AMAZING food helped me to get well soon. Highlight of Albania trip.

Great spot to stay on the way to, or back from Theth. Decent accommodation with views of surrounding valley mountains.

We planned to stay two nights but ended up staying over a week. The staff speaks English very well and is very willing to help with whatever. Thru their stories and our conversations we feel like we got to know the Albanian spirit..

There is no supermarket nearby so take groceries but no bread, they bake a really nice bread at the campsite.

perfect place to stay or stop at when in the area. accommodation/rooms are very simple but clean, campsites are super pretty. food is fantastic, as well as the service. it‘s a family run business, and main guy albert is doing a great job at coordinating everything! the views are beautiful, hiking tracks are nice and it‘s close to theth.

I have personally stayed at Boga Alpine Resort twice, in two different seasons; spring and summer. Both have been delightful experiences. The view is breathtaking. The transition from swimming in the pool during the hot hours to drinking the local hot tea in the evening around the bonfire is spine-tingling. The food is exceptional and the staff friendly. Unbeatable spot and service!

We were there on last May for a night stay. The resort is located near to the main road on the way to Theth-Shkoder, with lot of hut concepted rooms and camping areas. Mr. Albert, the owner and caretaker of the resort was very helpful and friendly to explains about history and Albania tourism and even give me a discount from the room price. They have many options on breakfast menu but we opted locally prepared pan cake and jam and was delicious… loved it.
There were construction going on for new hotel rooms to get ready for future tourist traffic.
Highly recommended.

Very welcoming host. It's a really quite place for people who want to escape daily life. Fresh air, natyral running water directly from fountain.

We had a warm welcome by arrival and could pick any camp space we'd liked. The camping was in the middle of the mountains, the view was amazing.

Breakfast with some pancakes and fruit were okay and the coffee was great!!

All of the staff was super friendly and helped us a lot.

We stumbled upon this place completely accidentally but I feel very lucky we did. Such incredible views and very friendly owners. Standard double rooms are very basic but you don’t need much in this naturalistic environment (and the prices are very low as well). The food they serve is also awesome!

Was there for 2 nights , the room I got was really clean , the bed sheets , the towels and everything . Food was delicious and the staff was really nice , helpful and lovely . Specially the waiters , they literally gave me everything I asked for and even upgraded me to a bigger room for free just because it was unbooked for those nights . Definitely will go back again !
