The hotel is very good, the rooms are very clean and comfortable. The mountain view is breathtaking. The food is both traditional and modern. I recommend to everyone to visit this place.

In our case he was also able to create a delicious vegan menue, which is not at all a likely experience in Albania.

The ride up there can be a bit sturdy, easy to be taken by 4WD and also manageable with a 2WD if you have enough patience (and weather had not been to bad).

We spent 3 nights at Chestnut Hill. The family is amazing and will make your stay unforgettable. Food is great and the view is awesome. Great starting point for hikes. Just 1h drive to Valbona or the ferry. Make sure you call or e-mail them if you don't have your own 4W drive. They can pick you up. We will definitely come again.

This is a new family-run hotel that is only about one-year old according to the owner. The journey to the hotel will take some effort as it’s a 5km off-road drive up the hill to an altitude of about 1300m (that explains the spectacular view). The owner did a round trip pickup for us for 20€.

Service here is awesome. The owner and staff were all very friendly and personable and were around to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. The food they have here is really good as well. With fresh ingredients from the mountains and awesome cooking.

Although it’s a little out of the way from the towns in the area, the breathtaking view you get for the effort pays off. Highly recommended for a scenic getaway.

New and peaceful hotel in the middle of nowhere. Super friendly owners with good cooking skills, gave us recommendations what to do and treaded their guest very well.
The way to the hotel is the last 5 km quit “adventures”, so if you have a low car ask for a shuttle.

A hidden gem in Tropoja.
Wonderful people, Ermali, Geri, Leo the 👨‍🍳 the hospitality and the atmosphere that they create it makes you feel like home and once you visit this place you dont want to leave.
Surrounded by mountains, very clean and beautiful rooms.
Food its delicious, everything so tasty and surprising, you have menus for vegan and vegetarian too.
Cant wait to go back there, you can see the sunrise and play with the dogs.

If you are in the area stay with this family. They are super hosts very kind and friendly. The food, the cats and the view will make your stay even more worth it. You can hike nearby but can also go for hikes in Valbona
