Athinaja Bar Cafe Camping

This was my point of departure and exit in Albania. The hospitality, generosity and friendliness of each and every one of the family is unique and precious. Hearing the young students tell about their (medical) studies, yet helping out wherever was necessary, is a lesson to humbleness to all. On top of that, their 'freddo espresso' is heavenly and salads and anything else is homegrown. I had the chance to spend my last night in Albania in their place, before catching the boat in Greece back to Italy. My motorcycle was safely parked on the terrace. // This is now a place I will return to as soon as I'm anywhere near. we had delicious ice cold Frappé while our car was washed. The young guy and the young woman speak really good English and are very friendly and caring.

Such a friendly family and great experience! We had our car washed very neat and while we waited we had 2 beers. Great value for money! Very friendly owner :)

The quality of the human experience here perfectly reflects the incredible natural beauty of rural Albania. Rugged tough solid stoic and so gracious. Excelente coffee yes but the conversation and attention to healthy development shook us to the core and left us inspired. Thank you, I hope more rural places follow your developmental competencies.

Friendly people and good coffee

Fantastische plek! Super lieve mensen, heel attent en vriendelijk. We hebben een heerlijke Griekse salade gekregen, met biologische producten uit eigen tuin, zelfgemaakt brood en heel lekkere Albanese kaas (soort feta). Kwam ook precies op het goede moment na een pittige bergrit!

Oso toki berezia. Gaua bertan eman genuen kanpatuta eta afaltzen ere eman ziguten. Dena primeran. Dimitri gaztearekin solasean oso gustura ibili ginen, oso interesgarria eta ingeles bikaina. Geldialdi batek merezi du.
