Saint Nicholas Church

You can't go to Voskopoja without enjoying it's gorgeous churches and history. There are few still functional and some just ruins.
Sublime example of byzantine church with beautiful mural frescoes dating back to the middle XVIII century. Highly recommend it!

The most preserved church, showing the work of two albanian painters of the 1700’. David Selenica and Kostandin Zografi.

Closest church to town centre, we drove around to most of the churches by car.

A great church, but it needs some re-paint the outside wall.

Biserica armânească Sf.Nicolae este construită în jurul anului 1700.Picturile sunt terminate pe la 1726 iar catapeteasma in 1743 .In urma unor incendii în 1916 și 1943 (primul și al doilea război mondial) biserica a suferit mari distrugeri.În prezent este singura biserica unde se mai țin slujbe bisericești în limba aromână și albaneză din cele 5 existente în Moskopole. Părintele Toma un aromân din aceste locuri slujește aici și are grijă de acest lăcaș de cult .

Deze kerk bevat hele mooie fresco’s aan de binnenzijde. Helaas mag daar niet worden gefotografeerd. Aan de buitenzijde worden op dit moment de fresco’s gerestaureerd.
Deze zijn namelijk helaas behoorlijk beschadigd geraakt doordat bezoekers hen namen erin hebben gekerfd.

Maravillosa iglesia bizantina. Tiene los frescos muy enteros. Para entrar, has de llamar al número de teléfono y viene la persona que abre las iglesias. Es una chica muy agradable. Nos llevó a ver también la de Atanasios y San Nicolás. Merece mucho la pena. Por cierto, para tener Internet, pillamos una tarjeta de pre-pago que nos sirvió para poder hacer esta llamada.

Καταπληκτικός ναός με εξαιρετικές τοιχογραφίες, δυστυχώς χωρίς την προστασία και τη συντήρηση που χρειάζεται... Σχετικά δύσκολη η επίσκεψη αφού δεν υπάρχει ωράριο λειτουργίας...

Një Kishë shumë e vjetër, me pikturat e ikonave orgjinale. Dhe mbi të gjitha besojmë në Kisha e Shën Kollit Voskopojë.
Një kishë historike që në lashtësi.
Kisha e shën Kollit, ka përfunduar ndërtimin në vitin 1721.
Është mirëmbajtur si monument kulture..
