Divjaka-Karavasta National Park

Next time you are in Albania, don't miss out on this unspoiled "little" gem. The National Park of Divjakë-Karavasta is rich in nature and exploring opportunities. With untapped wide sandy beaches, covered in tall pines and local greenery and vegetation, home to the unique Dalmatian Pelican as well as flamingos, this ia a must visit site. What can you do? Lots and lots like bike riding, boat ride, hiking, bird watching or just capming and enjoying a beautiful day by the beach. Right at the Park's Visitors Center there is a ten-story tower that provides a 360° view of the Lagoon. There also you can meet Johnny, the pelican. Entrance fee if the tower (100 Lekë). This place is still so naturally raw and wild! Note: mind the mosquitos and other insects, after all you are visiting a lagoon and wetlands. So prepare yourself and don't let the bugs frighten you. Most importantly respect its nature and enjoy the majestic scenery.

Nature lovers should visit this place and the Tower (100 lek entrance)…no elevator yet..

There are good places around to eat as well. A nice walk by the sea and the fishermen working to catch some fish with their nets...A good place for kids to walk and play too.
I recommend this place. Be careful of mosquitos..they are around even in cold weather...

Ramsar protected wetland and a part of the park is strictly protected, where you can see the curly pelican. The sand and see view is amazing. You can take a boat to the inner lagoon or to the see.
Plenty of fish restaurants with very good prices.
Warning the place is full of small flies and mosquitos.

Beautiful place to visit with your family voor the beaches for the nice hotels, for the most friendly people in albania, for picnic of walking on the woods, you can do also small boat trips in the channels of the lagoon to see the wild life,🦤🦢🦆🦀🐃🐴🐮🐇🦅🐟 the lagoon, beautiful.You can found also delicious restaurants special in seafood en in very low prices 😋😋😋😋

This Lagoon is amazing , it has around 250 different types of birds , more that 100 amphibians and also a special Pelican that it is inhabitant of this lagoon and cant be found nowhere in the whole globe.

One of the most important lagoon of Albania. The vizitors can learn more on information center of Regional Administration of Protected Area of Fier on richness of flora and fauna of this area.

Great place for birdwatching or walking through a beautiful coastal conifer forest & beach. If you go to the beach area, please try to stay on already driven/walked-on paths, as the sand dunes and mudflats there are very fragile habitats and there aren't currently any protections for them. While there are lots of options for recreation here, like fishing, beachgoing, etc, please be mindful of nature if you do visit; don't litter, pick up trash if you can, keep your dogs leashed, and enjoy watching wildlife from a distance (even the resident pelicans at the visitors center).

We kayaked our own kayak to the sea. Was great!

Nice wall. Very comfortable for visit in the middle of summer, thanks to many trees you can brief here easily. The tower is very nice designed and has good views.

You can see different birds and pelicans and also a lot of big crabs :) Boat trip is a must and a walking in the forest. you have to climb also 360' towers to have a big picture of Karavasta.

Beuatiful serene pine forest with many walkable trails (and walkable off the trail as well), a lot of wild animals to admire, I suggest visiting the observation tower as well

Beautiful place and natural Area

This is a must go place especially im a sunny day. The forest is fully enjoyable. In the 360 tower you have some stunning views. I recommend you get some binoculars. The dalmatian pelican is absolutely the most famous and a must see. I would recommend a boat trip alongside the lagoon that is breathtaking. So beauties in a single lagoon.

I spent a day in National park. Very beautiful place. Very rich in flora and fauna. Tourist Information is very helpful and the atmosphere was very nice.
