Sunway Hotel

There is a reason that Sunway only has 5 star reviews, I literally cannot think of a single thing to criticise this place. Thank you so much to the family, they are so welcoming and friendly. The daily buffet breakfast to be included in the price is unbelievable. We spent evenings in at the bar playing cards rather down by the beach because it was such a nice place to be. We cannot wait to share this place with friends and family, as people who love to travel we rarely return to the same place, but I think we will have to make an exception for Sunway. We can’t think of enough nice words to say, thank you for a wonderful stay.

A family owned hotel with super service-minded and friendly staff. The room was really quiet despite facing towards the main road. You are able to enter the hotel if you are disabled and there is an elevator to reach each floor, but it will be hard to manage a wheelchair whilst within the room.
It is clean and fresh in general. In the rooms as well as in the common areas.

Cannot say enough good things about this hotel. The family who runs the hotel is extremely gracious, helpful and welcoming. The breakfast in the morning was delicious. The hotel room was quiet, clean and comfortable. Stay here if you can!

A place where to feel at home, most welcoming staff! We’ve spent 2 weeks in Albania, and this was the best hotel, best breakfast and best reception ever!

Excellent hotel, the hosts were amazing! Michael and his family made you feel right at home. They’re so helpful and kind.
The rooms were spotless, cleaned everyday.
Location was ideal, a few minute walk to different beaches and restaurants.
Would strongly recommend and we will be coming back!

This place is perfect. The owner and his family are the most welcoming and genuinely nice people we’ve ever met. Breakfast is just outright fantastic and rooms are getting cleaned every day. Furniture is very modern, so is the bar and the seating area outside. Beaches are only a short walk away and easily accessible without having any noise at night.

The best hotel I could stay in Ksamil!! I came with some friends for my birthday and they were super nice and friendly making my stay awesome! They even prepared a cake for me.
The breakfast is really good with many homemade things. Rooms very clean and comfortable. Location was great, only 10 min walking to the beach. I really recommend this place!

This has to be the best hotel in Ksamil, everything was perfect! Everyone is so helpful - they go above and beyond. Comfortable beds and great showers in a very clean and well kept hotel. Breakfast is also lovely. Definitely will stay again.

This is a hotel run by a family. Excellent service, they were all super nice to us and made our stay perfect.
Its fair to mention that breakfast was delicious, cooked every morning, many different options! Definitely your gonna try Albanian delights.

Most helpful staff I have ever met. Super friendly and super clean hotel. Stunning home-made breakfast. Everything was excellent during our stay. Top in Ksamil.

Looking at the definition of what a family-owned-business means, it says “owners put themselves at front line”; that’s exactly what we found in what we could call “Sunway hotel family”. The staff gives 120% in making the guest at home.

The structure: completely renewed and refurbished with a great mix of modern and cozy style. Room and bathroom are spacious and comfy.
The staff: we have been welcomed by Mikelo whom kindness reached directly our hearts. He checked us in, he guided us towards the parking spot and helped us bringing our numerous suitcases to our room. Moreover, he brought us a welcoming soft drink that we had on the terrace while seeing the sunset. Throughout the stay he has been our personal living guide in Ksamil suggesting us top non-touristic restaurants and not crowed amazing beaches. Breakfast is fully homemade by Mikelo’s mom who takes care of the behind the scene mastery of cooking. Peculiar fact: we tested Mikelo’s dad previous experience as barman asking him for two margaritas: challenge accepted and test passed.

This place is not only recommended as a hotel, but as the entire experience it drives you through Ksamil. Thank you Mikelo and Sunway family!

The hotel is a run by a super friendly and kind family, they were really helpful and hospitable during our stay! Rooms were super clean and the location was central. If you're looking for a place to stay in Ksamil, look no further than that

Probably one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in my life. I think what makes for a good hotel is a nice room and good service but what makes for a great one, is the hospitality of the people and that came through right away.

The hotel is a family run one and you can feel the work and love that each of the family members puts into each guest (I felt like their friend more than anything). The breakfast was the best Albanian food I have had this trip and I was super excited for it, as I got to show my American friend why we love vegetables and fruits so much (because they are super fresh).

I will definitely be coming back and telling my family and friends. They went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. I don’t like writing reviews but this hotel (or better yet, the people who run it) deserve it. Shume shume faleminderit qe na mikpritet; zemrat tuaja u shfaqen menjehere. Until next time

The family who runs the hotel is so welcoming and they really make you feel home. They give us welcome drinks. Recommended restaurants places to visit.
Breakfast is great with nice and fresh selection including local options.

What a fantastic place to stay! We were so lucky to have stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. The hotel is very new (opened in 2019) and has a modern look.
Rooms are very clean and service is perfect. Mike and his family make you feel at home. They give tips on where to go for dinner, which beaches to visit etc. Breakfast is amazing! We can recommend everybody to stay in thus hotel when going to ksamil!

Rare to find the hospitality of a family home in a hotel but we found this at Sunway. Mikel and his family make every effort to ensure guests have the perfect stay. They were exceptionally hospitable and accommodating during our time in Ksamil and really made our visit.

The hotel itself is modern and impeccably clean. We also found the secure underground parking really easy to use and a great facility to have.

The breakfast was amazing and we highly recommend trying Mike's mums apple juice from her hometown :)

Location is also super convenient for the beach and surrounding area. Mikel also gives some great recommendations for local restaurants and nearby amenities.

Nice hotel, facilities were new, staff was friendly and always ready to help. They have some delicious homemade stuff for breakfast.

We stayed in Sunway hotel as a couple with a 9 months old baby for 11 nights. I cannot truly express just how pleasant our stay was. Never had we felt so warmly welcomed, and treated not just as a guests, but also as friends. The premises are new and beautifully decorated, with an impeccable hygiene, the sheets and towels are regularly changed, the location of the hotel is excellent and the breakfast buffet is fantastic, but the best quality of this hotel is the service. The family that owns the hotel are charming, pleasant and wonderful people, committed to provide the best service there is, and will put their best effort to make you enjoy your stay. You will always be greeted with a wide smile and have all your needs as a guest fulfilled. There are numerous restaurants in the vicinity of the hotel, and the city beach is just short walk away. This was my second visit to Ksamil and after a thorough search for a hotel, I can say that the Sunway is best there is in Ksamil. I highly recommend it and will surely visit again!
