Abia Tower Round about Umuahia

Here is the capital city of the state. My experiences are unimaginable.

It's a beautiful structure that reminds travels that they are in Umahia

There's a restaurant across the road by the left, after the tower (en route Port Harcourt) they sell the best food I've had in a while. If you ever wondered how you can give your belly a nice treat before continuing your journey, that's the place for you. It's pricey but totally worth it. I recommend that place !

The Tower round about connect to various state. Was on my way to calabar and we passed the tower. it's a nice place but becareful from picking pockets

A wonderful place to be
Home sweet home

Was my first time in Abia. I came in from mbaise to umuahia, so "The Tower" was the first obvious landmark I saw. It says welcome to Abia, with the names of the local government written below

Maybe peculiar to Imo and Abia states, there are usually magnificent roundabouts with a significant sculpture a short distance from the entrance of the capital city with all the local governments of the state inscribed upon it.
Abia Towers is quite historic and a popular location at the intersection of roads leading to Aba, Owerri, Umuahia and Enugu. You can find motor parks and buses loading for Owerri, Enugu, Bénue, Nassarawa, Uyo, Aba etc.
This place rarely sleeps.

It was one of the hectic experiences of my life due to the ongoing construction at the round about.
But with time, the construction will soon be over, making the round about, a stress free one for commuters.

Busy, but under control by all the security agencies. Much respect to d road safety personnel. You guys are doing a great job

This is the so much renowned Abia tower roundabout, located in Umuahia; the capital city of Abia state, along Enugu- Porthacourt express way.
It makes for easy flow of traffic for vehicles and pedestrians either crossing, leaving from or going in the capital city of Abia state.
It was recently reconstructed and beautified, giving rise to a good sight for those constituting the traffic.
The color theorem used in the painting makes for its unique aesthetics and clearly separated it from what it used to be.
Personally speaking, I enjoy every bit of my gaze at this edifice as long as my movement across the tower lasted.
This is a very beautiful site and you will not regret paying a visit.

Landmark that marks the capital city of Abia state-Umuahia

Located on A3 along Enugu-Port Harcourt expressway.

Get transport to okigwe Owerri Enugu etc.

This place is Like an old soldier that never dies. Saw the place after 5 fives and it looked just the same. Was excited to see the buying and selling in and around the place has been controlled. The round about tell a whole lot of story about the people of Abia and how they've come this far. The tower is in contrast reflection of the town. Passers-by might think the city is as beautiful. All Abian pray and hope that a Messiah governor will arise one day.

I love abia state infact look fine

Is a little busy area, if you're coming from Owerri once you get to tower round about, by your right is way to Abba, your left is way to Enugu, but once you follow straight you're going to the main town of Abia State

This is a landmark between Umuahia in Abia State and some other towns in Imo State in Nigeria.
The Aba - Port Harcourt express way meets here too.

Yeah I passed through the tower on my way to isinweke in Imo state.
