Great place, very nice and friendly staff. Love their sea food okro, very tasty. Waited patiently, even though I took time to select what I wanted, even showed me samples and didn't even get annoyed when after I ordered, I still wanted to add more.

Having frequented both The Yellow Chilli branches in Ikeja and Victoria Island for over a decade, I can confidently say it remains a top choice for experiencing the rich flavors of African cuisine. The taste is consistently impeccable, a testament to the restaurant's commitment to quality. The inviting ambiance and well-thought-out settings enhance the overall dining experience. Yellow Chilli has undoubtedly become a reliable and delightful destination for savoring authentic African dishes, making it a longstanding favorite of mine.

The staff was very attentive and professional, plus I tried swallow as a foreign expat and it was good :) the crowd in the restaurant even around 3pm was a good indication of its fame among locals. I will totally recommend this place to anyone who wanna try some home-made tasting Nigerian dish.

I was in Lagos for just a few hours between flights and decided to go get lunch. Someone pretty much swore on this place and I could 100% see why! The food was sooo good! And the service was great too. I’m from Abuja so I’m used to waiting for a long time just for my fries to come out cold, so I was pleasantly surprised to get fries that were actually hot and crispy that came out on time lol. Also the restaurant is so pretty and Instagrammable, especially the outdoor seating area. No complaints whatsoever.

Oh what a great restaurant. They have 2 floors and the place is really nicely staffed. The menu is full and has so many authentic dishes, lots of stews and swallows. We ordered something we never ate before- okro and cassava fufu and my husband enjoyed it so much. The waiters are good and very helpful with explaining. The food was delicious. The drinks were sweet and good. Overall 5 stars.

There are over 100 reasons to love Yello Chilli but I'll mention just 2 here.

1. Quality of meals compared to the affordable pricing.

2. They have one of the best spots for local dishes. I really haven't tasted a better prepared sea food okro soup before.

Okay, I said 2 but I'll add one more... the staff are highly courteous. Top notch service.

Been here 4 or 5 times and it’s always a hit. Seafood okra is my family’s favourite and oxtail pepper soup is mine. It’s very spicy though 🥵
