This is a ritzy grocery store, so I don't typically shop here for groceries, but I'm giving it 5 stars because they are the only grocery store in town (that I know of) that sells Boar's Head meat! It is the best deli meat I have ever had. And their selection of Boar's Head is incredible!

We call Metcalfe 's Market the Food Palace 🫅 Everything is really good and local stuff too. We joined the Rewards Card program and the prices were reasonable. The Coupons are automatically done! Lots of Sale prices and on Sundays they give out Free newspapers! We Love the staff and Bud is always there helping with the carts...He has the Best Smile! 😁 Thank you 👍

Found a piece of holiday decor I love tonight. Very difficult to find, but there it was! Also first time I’ve found properly made fresh cherry turnovers in forever! Thank you!

We order a multitiered cake from bakery of Metcalf's West Towne at 7455 Mineral Point Rd, Madison for our daughter's engagement. Deciding on the options usually is a difficult process, but Ms. Kellie, the bakery section staff made it so easy, thanks to her expertise, patience, and professionalism. The outcome was far beyond our expectations. The look, the size, elegance, the taste, and yes, the cost was very reasonable too. Thanks to Ms. Kellie, Metcalf's Bakery at West Towne has earned a new loyal, repeat, customer.

Great place! Large variety of items and really food weekend deals on produce! Prices are a bit more expensive for some items, but you have the option of checking out other grocery stores if you want. Staff are super friendly and super helpful!

A big shout out to the Deli Team⭐ Cranberry Orange Relish and the Kale Apple Salad were a hit!

A grocery store so nice, you'll look forward to shopping. The meat counter and fish department are excellent. A wide selection of coffee and lots of grab-and-go meal items.

Great customer service! I placed a pickup order- yes, it somehow got lost. It was a bit annoying, BUT upon the eventual pickup, what happened? Jacob presented me a $20 gift card to make up for the hassle. Trust me, I won’t forget that and I will remain a loyal Metcalf customer. So will my little granddaughter, a future Metcalf customer, who witnessed the slight unpleasantness. Metcalf rocks!

Now, this is a supermarket with a lot of options! Meltcalfe's market is a large grocery store where you're likely to find whatever you need, from fruit and vegetables to house supplies. It is very modern in there and the aisles are well indicated. The checkout staff was very pleasant and efficient!

Grocery stores stress me out- this is the only one I like. The chill music and warm lighting are appreciated. Staff are very friendly.

Really good produce and selection of meats. Some nice local treats as well. A bit pricier than woodman's but worth the tradeoff for me.

We LOVE this store. Appreciate the free Sunday paper. Love the produce section; Yuppie Hill organic eggs; Wonderstate Coffee; Coconut Bliss non-dairy ice cream; and so many other grocery items. Staff is friendly and helpful. And the music is always pleasant. Thank you for such a great store. We appreciate the local connection. The way you serve the community is awesome. Just moved West side of town, and have come to really like Metcalfe's. Very friendly staff for the most part, and produce is always fresh, at least in our experience. Awesome deli selections and staff is helpful with ingredients due to allergies. Store is very clean as well, which is appreciated. Would highly recommend.

I love this store, I just wish there was one closer to sun prairie or cottage grove.

Very nice, clean store, friendly, helpful staff. Nice to have hand sanitizer stations throughout the store. A decent assortment of gluten free products. Wonderful fresh produce section. Wide variety of meat selections. A little on the pricier side as expected but deals can be found if you take the time to find them. I wont be shopping here for food and household staples - but will for meats and produce on occasion.

Probably one of the best grocery stores in Madison.

Always fresh produce; customer service is amazing. Love the local products and that I can get my fave bakery goodies all in the one place. Happy with the coupon they do each month - it's a good way to try more local stuff!

One of my favorite places to shop. Very good selection of fresh produce, dairy, meats, and bread.

Superb hot bar and fancy coffee bar inside, free wifi and free infused water to boot. Groceries here are great and they have products you don't see elsewhere. Liquor and wine selection is on par with other high end shops, staff is friendly and restrooms are right up front. I really like this grocery store.

It is my favorite place to buy deli meat. I really like the variety of hams, salami, pepperoni and different types of cheeses.
On Fridays there are some offers on fish.
You can feel and see the freshness in their products.
