Camino Real Mexican Seafood

Fun atmosphere for dinner. The food was fantastic. They bring the heat! We were given the impression that refills were free, but they were charged.

This place gets a 100% go from me. The food was excellent. the staff was excellent and didn't make me feel stupid because I didn't know how to pronounce menu items. They give you market price so they're not blatantly overcharging you for the price of seafood when it goes up or down they charge a percentage over what their cost is. The bathrooms were spotless, the dining room was spotless and the bar was spotless. The menu was done really well so it's easy to read and fun. They're willing to pretty much custom make you whatever you want. If you like Mexican and seafood or just one of the other you need to try this place!!!

A must try if you are ever in Madison Wisconsin. Our server was polite, very helpful, and most importantly, the food was delicious. There are several seafood dishes that also include fries. I thought that was odd, but it was a perfect compliment to the sauce. I'd eat here at least twice a week if I lived nearby. The drinks were also great. I couldn't finish it, and that's rare!🤣🤣 You won't be disappointed.

Great restaurant. Great flavor, and great service. Went on a Friday night and was semi busy. The food and drinks were brought out pretty fast. I asked for salsa for the fish tacos and got two different ones, green and red. Red(chile de arborl) is fire... shut out to Arturo for being on it that night. I say this is by far the best spot for Mariscos in Madison.

We living coming back to this place time and time again. We love a wide variety of their tacos. One of the best ways to judge if you like a Mexican restaurant is to try their pastor tacos. If they have good ones, then the rest of their menu is likely good. They have good tacos: aracherra steak, cochinita pibil chicken, chicken tinga, pork pastor, fish, shrimp and chorizo. I'm forgetting a few off the top of my head. Their horchata here is really good too!

New management. New cooks. The service is top notch .The food though is much better. Haven’t had tacos this good since going to restaurants on the border.

This place was great! I went with a friend and we split a burrito. With a side of rice and fried beans, it was more than enough food! The staff also bring you plenty of chips and salsa. I can't wait to go back again.

The service was slow... But it was full we had a new Waiter but he did great.. I will definitely be going back to try more of their food.. Big variety I love the pictures because you can see what you're getting and it looks like the picture when it comes out.. See you soon.

The decor is fun and colorful. The singer made the atmosphere on Friday night even more festive. Cocktails are delicious. The seafood was some of the best I've ever had in Madison. The servers were busy but attentive and friendly. We loved it and will be going back!

Camino Real is among the top three Mexican bar/restaurants in the Madison area, if not the best! I have tried quite a variety of their dishes and I have not come across a not great one yet! The seafood is definitely top-notch and you cannot beat the price either

The burrito with shredded beef was very good. The meat was tender and full of flavor. Can't say much for the atmosphere, we sat out side. They had a couple of picnic tables. We will definitely go back.

Our family had dinner there yesterday. The service was excellent and the food FANTASTIC! I have lived in San Diego and never had as good Mexican food!! The servings were gigantic and so delicious!! Another thing...When you seeHispanic families dining in a Mexican food restaurant, it has to be good!!

The food at this restaurant is delicious. I’ve recently started working in the area and I’ve been looking for a great Mexican restaurant. I’ve been here four times in the last week. Great staff, great environment and amazing food. Highly recommended.

Love the margaritas!!! Food is awesome too. Nice place to hang out and have drinks. I see some of the reviews people are complaining about the credit card charge. Most of the places I been to, are also doing it. Including dealerships. Guarantee those people won’t complain to the big corporation, but they do to the local businesses. To management, I enjoy your service.

We were in town for the youth state wrestling tournament. We took the family here and LOVED this place. We eat at Mexican restaurants all the time and this was one of the BEST! Great food, drinks, service, and the atmosphere was upbeat and fun! We will come back every time we are in town!!!!

I love this restaurant - my favorite dish is the farmer’s quesadilla and soda water with lime in a tajin-rimmed margarita glass! Plus the beautiful ambiance and friendly staff :)
