Exterior Renovations replaced our synthetic stucco and older vinyl siding with new James Hardie siding & trim this fall. Everyone from sales, to project manager and the president all were easy and great to work with. They did a fantastic job, got the job done quickly, and we LOVE the finished product!

We could not be happier with the job Exterior Renovations did with our house this summer. After doing a complete renovation of a house we bought and using many subcontractors, Exterior Renovations was one of the very few that we were completely satisfied with. Their attention to detail and ability to do the job at the quoted price was so refreshing. I had a rough idea of what I wanted to do, and their designer filled in the blanks with a great overall plan. It is almost weird to say that I had a great time getting to know the owner Nick, Jason and the entire crew that worked on our house. They turned a house that was originally built in 1963 into a house that looks like it could have been built from the ground up this year. I give Nick and the entire crew at Exterior Renovations my highest recommendation!

Our house originally had cedar lap siding, which looked great but was constantly attacked by woodpeckers. We needed an alternative that would look right, and also prevent woodpecker attack. At first, we weren't sure what the best approach would be, so we invited a number of companies to assess and give quotes. We were immediately impressed by Exterior Renovations and Matt Bruesch, their representative. Matt didn't simply say "Yeah, we can do that, and this it what it takes." He took the time to assess the job, to listen to what we were thinking and were trying to do (originally we were thinking of steel siding), and then persuaded us that Hardie Plank would do the job we needed and would have the look of cedar lap without the bird damage. We really got the sense that he was thinking about what would look right and not just making a sale. With a quote that was competitive, we took their offer.

Our home was not a simple job. Lots of ins and outs, overhangs, and porches. Other companies had said it would take them 3-4 weeks to do. Once work began, Exterior Renovations really demonstrated that they are superior in every way. They were able to do the work a few weeks after we signed the contract, and they put a large, well-organized crew on the job and completed the work in 7 working days. Attention was paid to every detail to ensure that our home has a durable, weather-proof finish. The equipment they used, such as pump jacks instead of scaffold, was state-of-the-art so as to minimize disruption and damage to our property. While the work was ongoing, we worked with Jason, who oversaw the work on site, saw to it that we were kept up to date with everything as it happened. Jason went the extra mile to get things done quickly so as to minimize our disruption.

It's rare to come through a job of this kind and not have something that isn't quite right, but in this case we were completely satisfied with every aspect of the work. Full marks to Exterior Renovations. We will surely seek them out for future work on our home.

Just a fantastic experience with Exterior Renovations from start to finish. The team as a whole was thoughtful, diligent, helpful, and pleasant to have around. We had a complete exterior overhaul, and Michael was so thorough with addressing every single one of our questions--with more detail and explanation than any other company we talked with. The pricepoint beat every other company we talked with (except one who was willing to match the price), but they also were meeting our unique needs with creative ideas and personalized solutions to our unique problems (for instance, unique fascia and soffet design for an old home in order to maintain the character and more inventive and effective gutter installation to avoid strap-hung gutters). John, the lead on our project, had a great attention to detail and obviously took great pride in his work (as he should) and was always happy to answer questions. We ran into a couple of hiccups in house structure (rotting wood, etc) which were also addressed promptly and efficiently. Communication and promptness were amazing throughout the entire experience. Two small details were left unfinished, and Michael noticed them himself in his own followup to the project and were taken care of promptly. Honestly, we’re still shocked at how smoothly and and pleasantly such a giant project went. For one of the best-priced quotes, we were worried we’d pay the price in some way, but instead we really just found the best company to work with. We’ll most definitely be using Exterior Renovations for all future projects with no hesitation.

We were in need of a new roof due to hail damage. Exterior Renovations LLC was quick to come out and give us a quote and work with our insurance. We were told it would take two days to complete the project but it only took them one and they did an amazing job. We have gotten a lot of compliments on our new roof and recommend them to everyone we know!

Cannot recommend this company highly enough. They got us out of a tough spot with a previous roof job gone wrong, and were extremely knowledgeable, professional, and kind. Likely not the cheapest out there, but you definitely get what you pay for in terms of quality, workmanship and customer service. We would recommend them to everyone we know!

I had to get some work done on my house in a hurry for water damage to a basement patio door. This was no small task, from what I could gather there was a rotten header above the door which if left unaddressed could spell serious structural damage to the entire wall. Exterior Renovations responded to my request right away and within a week their crew was on the job fixing the issues with top notch quality and true professionalism. Everyone I worked with from Exterior Renovations was kind, courteous and answered all the questions and concerns I had so I could understand as I had only a small amount of construction experience. I was also pleasantly surprised at the up front and affordable price for the repairs.
I whole heartedly recommend this company, they are great at what they do and care about the work.

We recently completed a whole house cement fiber siding replacement. They were helpful and thoroughly professional. They did not try to oversell the project and gave me a couple of options for various job sizes to manage our budget. They kept me updated throughout the project and answered any questions I had promptly and thoroughly. I was also impressed by the crew they sent to work on our house. Artisans! We never thought our house, a '60s tri-level in Parkwood Hills, could ever have curb appeal. But the team at Exterior Renovations knew exactly how to make it stand out. The results are amazing and even more surprising, came within our budget! A year later, we still get neighbors stopping by to discuss the look. We really came to see the team as family, they were so fun to have around. We wish they did interiors as well, would love to have them back. Michael, Jason, and the entire crew, thank you so much!

I scheduled an appointment to discuss our home project with Orion Barbic. The meeting went well. He emailed a virtual rendition of our home. The app wasn't very user friendly. At any rate, after a few days, I emailed Orion to find out approximately when we would receive a quote for the project. He replied to my email the next day (Nov. 15, 2022), to let us know he was waiting on current pricing for some of the materials. The rest of November passes as well as the entire month of December without a word from Orion. Eventually, I emailed him on January 1, 2023, to express my displeasure with Exterior Renovations, LLC. Needless to say, he hasn't replied to my email, and we have yet to receive a quote. This has been a very disappointing experience! We would not recommend this company at all.
