1909 was super accommodating for our wedding we had in March. We rented out the upstairs rooms. They encouraged us to be creative with the space and even allowed us to extend our time upstairs if needed for a small price.

Absolutely gorgeous building remodel sets the tone for an upscale casual experience. 16 different wines are "on tap"' between 2 different dispensing machines. Wine prices vary from $3.50 for a 2.5 oz pour to $14 for a 7.5oz glass. The cheese and sausage tray ($8) was simple, but a nice accompaniment. The staff seem novice yet, but were very friendly and helpful. Seating is offered in 3 different rooms, varying from stools at bars and high top tables to couches. The building itself really steals the show. The back room is 2 levels completely redone floor to ceiling in stacked stone. It opens up to a vaulted ceilings completely comprised of glass. Another room has coffered ceilings with faux tin panels. There are art, home, and jewelry pieces for sale throughout. This is a great stop for a quick drink after work or leisurely weekend afternoon!

My girlfriends and I reserved a globe for our annual Christmas celebration. This was our first experience at 1909 and chose this spot because it’s right out my back door and wish to see businesses thrive in little Cross Plains. From the moment you walk in, you feel invited. The people, decor, seating options, lighting, patio, globes, wine selection… all beckon you to be there and beckon you to come back another time.

Absolutely beautiful place and attentive staff. It’s clear they work hard to keep the venue clean and welcoming. We had never been here before but will be back.

A lovely atmosphere with a broad selection of serve-yourself wines by the glass. Choose your size per pour and pay at the end. Other alcoholic and non- drinks are available. Full bottles, too. There is indoor seating, but the outdoor patio on a nice weather day/afternoon/evening is best. Limited food options to munch on while you catch up with friends and enjoy your wine.

The decor is beautiful, and it’s the perfect spot to grab a drink after work or meet up with friends to catch up! The wine “on tap” is so fun! It’s nice to be able to purchase a “small pour” sometimes when I want a little more than a small taste to decide if I like a wine or not! Staff is always super friendly. Super clean and cute space! Highly recommend grabbing a globe in the winter with friends or family! Great experiences each time I’ve gone!

Great spot and worth the drive! Super nice staff, nice wine and good selection of beers in a beautiful restored building!

We attended a graduation party here. It is a great venue and a wonderful concept. A small bar with lots of private sitting rooms. The staff was friendly and helpful. Would be a great place to enjoy your favorite cocktail and just unwind after a stressful day. Definitely two thumbs up.

The Village of Cross Plains is lucky to have such a beautiful wine bar! The building, one of the original in CP, has been completely renovated and is SO cool. And the outdoor patio is inviting and beautiful. Katy and family and friends do a great job with personal attention to each customer. Thank you for bringing this to CP!

Beautiful event venue! The owners (Katie and her husband) are super nice and very generous. Cross Plains is lucky to gain a wine bar like this! Can’t wait to go back. I will definitely use this place as an event venue in the future too!

We came by the other day and had a very good time! Two individuals in my party don’t drink and the bartender made us some non-alcoholic cocktails that were great! The venue is very nice as well, while we’re not from the area I will make a point to come back next time I am in the area, we had an exceptionally good time! Also everyone was very friendly, definitely the type of business we love to support! Highly recommend Nineteen09!

Enjoyed a wonderful fundraising event for the Cross Plains American Legion Auxiliary. 1909 was the perfect host location. What a great spot to enjoy some fun wine selections and an even better welcoming atmosphere. Can't wait to return.

We went to 1909 for the first time last night. It was a very cute space with a wonderful atmosphere. We were helped by Molly and Rachel who were so friendly, accommodating and made excellent recommendations. The cheese board was phenomenal. We will be coming back for many more date nights!

This new business and venue is offering so much to the local and greater community. It is a wonderful gathering place for friends, and a charming stop for visitors, who will surely come back. It’s so nice to have something up-scale in town, but at the same time, a place with a casual, welcoming feel. The only problem is that the gift shop is so great that I keep spending my money every time I visit - ha! 😂😍

I was welcomed with warm and inviting faces. The atmosphere is elegant and perfect for a group or even an individual looking to relax and enjoy a beverage. Fantastic wine selection! And many other alcoholic and non alcoholic options too. Such a fantastic addition to Cross Plains! Definately worth stopping in if you are traveling through town or live in the village. I'll be back.

This is the best addition to Cross Plains....EVER. So glad we finally have a venue that offers a great date night (or date day) option! :) The staff is amazing and so helpful. Extra bonus....you can bring in your own food!!! Love that local vendors and artists are on display...I'll be shopping soon! Such a great location with some historical charm. We already booked for a birthday party brunch in August - what a deal! Can't wait to get my weekly HH on here!

I called Nineteen09 and asked about their outdoor space being open because I wanted to meet a friend to celebrate her birthday but be socially distanced.
I believe the owner answered the phone and was incredibly friendly and offered us a private space upstairs to use on our own. It was AMAZING, and so comfortable and thoughtful. With how things are right now, it was so nice to be out somewhere but have a private comfortable space to meet a friend. THANK YOU!
P.S. they also have the cutest outdoor space and globes for rental!!

I'm not usually a wine drinker so I have no idea what I'm doing when picking out selections.. but the staff always helps me find the best type of wine and are super helpful and friendly! Gorgeous, updated space. Must try!

We really enjoyed the globe, even on a snowy night. It was cozy and private, prices seemed reasonable and the snack tray hit the spot. Will recommend for sure. Staff was great!
