You Retreat

I had been to this quaint and from an art perspective unique seaside fishing village before but not this particular Cafe. I'll be back. The Monster burger I had was beyond expectation and the beer cold. The owner was lovely and welcomed and catered to our motorcycle riding group like she'd know us for years. I will add this place to my touring map of the area for my customers.

Xheni has created a piece of heaven here on the beach that everyone should visit at least once in their lifetime. I loved the food and drinks but even more so the hospitality and the atmosphere. Next time I come back I'm planning on staying in the accommodation for a couple of days - waking up looking at the sea, listening to the waves. Already can't wait!

Absolutely loved stopping by for breakfast and a chat 😀 can't say enough great things about George and Jenny. Such a positive vibe, made us feel extremely welcome ❤ great conversation, and exceptional vegan food (accommodated for us)

I've been here so many times but always want to be back and bring my beloved people to come and enjoy. The best for drinks, view, music and services. Specially the view and details decorations. Highly recommend! !!!!!!!!

I was wandering along the beach trying to find a place to sit and maybe get some coffee. Only this place is open. I have quite a few 4-legged friends today, they all are very beautiful and friendly.
Boss is nice, she and her staff greet me well

Our stay at You Retreat was great! The room was comfortable and spacious, well equipped, with air conditioning and with the view on the beach!
Food was great, excellent English breakfast, burgers and fries!
George and Jenny were fantastic hosts, and they helped us get to Tam Thanh from Hoi An and navigate the area!
Tam Thanh is quite remote and quiet, perfect for relaxing, enjoying the beach and the mural village! It was for us a most welcomed break in our 3 weeks visiting Vietnam, escaping the very touristy places.

Awesome beach bar. George (owner) is very welcoming. Felt like we’d be friends for years! Comfortable and chilled vibe … exactly the way a beach bar should be. View is stunning.

Dropped in for a quick beer and stayed a few hours! Food is fantastic. Went for the cheese burger, one of the best I’ve had in a long time. Grilled to perfection and served with homemade chips. Definitely will be back soon.

After a morning exploring the Mural Village, we were ready for lunch. We quickly noticed that You Retreat had many positive reviews, so we decided to give it a try. The place is amazing; situated directly on the beach, it exudes a super chill vibe, and there are many very cute dogs around. We ordered a burger and a pizza, both of which were delicious! The staff were kind, and the owner was truly inspiring!

If you are planning a trip to Tam Thanh, there is no better place to stay than You Retreat. The location is amazing! You are right opposite the beach and there are surf boards / body boards to borrow if you want them. The rooms are really beautiful and Jenny is a great host. The food is also delicious - especially the warm hummus and the pizzas! You can also walk into town super easily. Thanks so much Jenny for a really great stay. Looking forward to next time :D

We are over the moon with our experience here, it’s been one of the highlights of our trip across Vietnam and would highly recommend you go out of your way to enjoy the amazing cafe, atmosphere and quiet beach. The staff are extremely helpful with recommendations and overall great to meet. Thank you to the staff for such a great time.

The atmosphere was very relaxing with the most beautiful view.
We had also a pizza and a burger with fries and tasted very good!

Been around the world staying in Hotels and Resorts that claim to be on the beach. This mini gem is actually on the beach. Had a brilliant couple of days here recharging the battery drained by covid . We drank and eat over the 2 days All 7 off us and it cost less than a single restaurant meal in Hanoi. Highly recommend never been anywhere quite like it. The owner manager has some tails to tell. So we pulled up a sandbank and light up A lantern. For get your 5 star have a real holiday in the beach .

George (the owner) runs a wonderful peaceful retreat just off a beautiful section of beach.

The food he makes is all fresh and delicious, the beer is cold and the dogs are friendly. Whether you want to read a book and relax, enjoy the beach and the waves or hear a good tale, this place delivers.

I rented a scooter in danang to come over but Tam ky station is even closer or chứ lại Airport if flying.
Didn't have time enough this time but will be book soon!

Amazing hosts (love your guts George and Zheni x). Definitely great view, and food too - mmm, blue cheese - my favourite! Conversation, company, books to read and beaches to explore. Beautiful in the rain or sunshine. Do yourself a favour and visit You Retreat, you won't regret it.

Beautiful hidden gem right on a long empty beach. The burger was absolutely fantastic. Probably the best I've had in vietnam to date. A very welcoming atmosphere and a few pet animals around for some company.

The location, the food and the drinks, all 10/10. Wonderful bar/restaurant/homestay on the beach in Tam Thanh. Great vibes about the place, a must stop if you’re on your way up or down the coast!

This place right next to the beach has an amazing energy and friendliness that is off the charts.

Stopped here to get a refreshing pick-me-up (homemade lime juice -- strong and distinctive) on a drive from Hoi An through the coastal fishing villages to the art murals & installations nearby.

The atmosphere created by host Xheni is exceptional. Wonderful place, will be back.
