Tam Thanh Natural Beach Resort

Property is being renovated with completion over next week. The Bungalows are scattered around a central kitchen dining area with Italian Pizza Oven and Bar area. It has its own section of Beach ⛱⛱⛱⛱. Ultra private and secluded set way back from main entrance just behind the Sand Dunes. Fantastic shade from the abundance of Coconut trees some recently planted along with mature forests around the perimeter. This place is a GEM!

One of the only places I’ve found in 10 years in Vietnam that is actually quiet and peaceful.

Owners are very nice and their food is excellent. Rooms are basic, but just fine.

The place is starting to look a little run-down, but that contributes to the beachfront atmosphere and tends to keep the loud, obnoxious people who go for partying and karaoke away.

Super good place, big rooms, bed with net, good home made food and a lovely family looking after you. The location is dreamy, on a lovely beach, good for swimming. Just go there!

Can't get any closer to the beach views are breathtaking. Hosts remarkable and fantastic cooks. Seafood so fresh daily and salads. Yummy 😋

This is such a lovely place to stay. Incredibly helpful and kind staff, beautiful bedrooms, perfectly clean, delicious breakfast, free bikes in good condition to use and all for a really reasonable price. Can't recommend this place enough. We moved here after 2 nights at a horrible hotel nearby in hoi an, wish we had stayed at flower garden the whole time. Highly recommended!

An absolute hidden gem. I came here for one night while cycling from Hoi An and fell in love with the place - the food, the owner Nguyen and his lovely family, and the great lunches and dinners shared with his family and other guests. I ended up staying 4 nights!

Owner/help - honestly can’t say enough positive things about Nguyen and his family. He speaks great English and is super keen to learn about what foreigners like when they travel so he is constantly improving his setup here. He invited me to join lunches and dinners with his family (his 5 year old son Bi is a blast), and even took me to the local markets and morning fish market (literally on the beach) and gave more info than any market tour I’d been on in a cooking class. Became more of a friend during my stay here and is an absolutely fantastic owner!

Be sure to get him chatting about food (especially from the north - he’s from Hanoi). We had long talks about Vietnamese food, and it’s cultural importance! Plus him and his mom are amazing cooks. We had hands down the best bun cha I have ever had one of the nights.

Vibe/setting - the restaurant opens up with on the beach so I’d often wake up to morning swims or pre lunch swims. Beautiful and quiet beach. Yes, the beach has a little bit of plastic and trash on it as it’s not as well maintained as some of the super popular beaches but it makes up for that by being serene and peaceful. Plus Nguyen has a great initiative - pick up one bag of trash from the beach and get a free beer!

The Tam Thành mural village is nearby and is a super cool place to stroll around; there’s the biggest war memorial monument in southern Vietnam just 6km away, and a local homestay that runs a fish sauce workshop. Just ask the owner and he’d gladly show you around the areas!

Rooms- the dorm is a little older and rustic as other reviews have mentioned and there are lots of mosquitos. But Nguyen is working to improve each of the bungalows and dorms to include better doors/etc and you can see this on a few of the bungalows already!

Seriously can’t say enough positives about this spot and the owner. He even phoned up a friend to have me stay with for the next leg of my trip. Excited to see where he takes this place as it continues to develop!

Lovely place - Paradise especially for our 5year old boy. Very friendly staff and owner. We even decided to stay longer! I would always recommend to book a few nights at Tam Thanh Natural Beach Resort if you are looking for peace and heavenly lonely beach and private beach Bungalow.

It was an all around great stay here! This place has certainly a lot of potential. Very cheap, great bananapancakes and food in General, the beach was nice, not too dirty. The rooms were clean with aircon and wifi, bathroom was good. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful but only the owner spoke english well.. 9/10 would recommend!

Peaceful laid back hotel by the beach. Perfect for those who want to avoid city bustle.

Great rustic place to stay. Accommodation is clean and simple. Pretty much had the beautiful beach to ourselves the whole time we were here. The family running the place are friendly and helpful.

Thus place is under renovation (April 2018) and has so much potential! Affordable prices for beach front views and the most welcoming family who becomes your own.

A great place to come if want to retreat from the tourist areas and " get your chill on "

If you like a bargain well here it is Great location by the beach and fantastic food.
