Ben Tre Farm Stay

Great place to relax. Very friendly hosts, they will do b anything to make your stay comfortable. Nice property with lots of fruit trees on the side of the canal. They organise boat trips in the river and canal - both very good experience. Nice home cooked food - breakfast and dinner at reasonable costs!

Very nice place, near the canal and in the middle of the forest. The rooms are nice and clean, the bed has a mosquito tent and fan plus air conditioner. The staff is very gentle and helpful if you're looking for a tour. The drink prices are reasonable but the food is a bit expensive but you get a full meal with multiple plates. They also offer free bicycles. The location is very good except for the fact that the near bridge is under renovation so you must ride for a few kilometres to reach the main streets, and just 10 minutes from city centre by bik

A week here has been like living in Paradise.
The location right on the river in beautiful tropical surroundings is wonderful
Our hosts are perfect and the home cooked food is amazing!
Tours are arranged for you by boat around the Delta.
Highly recommended and would have booked a month if we had known how wonderful it is.
Just spending 9 more days here relaxing and taking 6 hour boat tour for second time.
Duc and Quyen are perfect hosts and her food is fantastic.

Such an amazing place. They treated us super well and were really really helpful with us. They helped us with recommendations, and we lived a real vietnamese experience.
The last day they even drove us to not loose our bus. We would love to come back and we recommend it 100%. Also the experience of being in the middle of the Delta felt amazing. The house is near one island and we could motorbike arround it and see the sunset. A cool place to relax and to have peace.

What a wonderful place, Thank you! wonderful, quiet jungle feeling!  Spacious, natural facility in the middle of the green, and right on the water (contrary to our expectations, luckily we had almost no mosquitoes in February! . The simple and clean huts with mosquito net canopy are at a comfortable distance from each other, so that you can also have your privacy  in front of your house. The nice, very good English-speaking owner, who unobtrusively points out one time his tours and meals, which we found very pleasant. The tours were carried out individually by him - very interesting. Our self-run bike tour, which he recommended, via  Mekong islands with ferries were the most beautiful thing we have ever done. We recommend it unreservedly!

Very (VERY) friendly hosts, very nice breakfast and dinner possibilities, good location, perfect stay in Ben Tre! My partner and I got sick (picked up something on our flight) and the staff was so helpful in everything, they even went to get medicine for us in the nearby town, supplied us with fruit and food. We are very grateful for the help and will definitely come again.
Would recommend for anyone staying in this region.

We had luck to be hosted by Mr Duc. His place is so beautiful, you can see how much work and effort his and all the team puts in. The garden is beautifully maintained, there is a lot of space to rest. Peace and quiet. Real paradise. He even helped us with our scooter…

Very pleasant accommodation, you can feel the peace here and it is a balm for the soul. In the room a bed, wardrobe, table, kettle, coffee, water, air conditioning and fan. Bathroom with toilet, toothbrushes, toothpaste, hair shampoo, shower gel, soap. Moreover, we also slept very well here and excellent food is cooked here. It is clean here.

Thoroughly enjoy my stay at the farm stay! The friendliest hosts, delicious food, free bikes and a tranquil setting. Unfortunately we had a lot of rain so we couldn’t enjoy their tour, but I’m sure these are fantastic too! Highly recommend this place.

I came to this place for a calm private boat trip on Mekong. It is possible to rent a bicycle here (which I did). The place is heaven on earth, I am sad I dont have more days, otherwise, I would stay here for several nights. The place is calm and so green. The owner is very kind and friendly. Thank you for a nice experience and all your help!

I stumbled upon this farmstay by accident, and it is the best kept secret. I can't rave about it enough! Yes the rooms are dark and a bit small, and not bug proof at all, but this is the only minor con there is. The hosts are absolutely wonderful - allowed early check in, made the yummiest of food, made my ill daughter warm lemon juice, came and found us on the bicycles when we were lost, and even chased down our driver to give us a very small amount of change that had been overcharged. To say they are honest, kind and the warmest of people is an understatement, and we are so fortunate to have been able to stay here a night!

A jewel in the Mekong Delta. Duc and his wife made us feel so welcome at their farm stay. We totally relaxed and ate some of the best food we experienced in Vietnam. A must for everyone! James, Garry and Stephanie

Have been here for 2 nights with a group of 24 people. We had a amazing experience with a lot of fun. The owner and his wife are very guest friendly and speak perfect English.

Friendly people, delicious food, beautiful surroundings. Wonderful place to relax surrounded by pomelo and coconut trees with this lovely family. Perfect hub to discover rural life in the Mekong Delta by bike and boat. Kids loved it, and so did we!

Once again I had an amazing stay with Duc and Yen. The bungalows are very cosy and well equipped (sockets, AC, fan mosquito net for the bed, towels, toiletry, kettle and complimentary water). The bed is comfortable and the place is clean, surrounded by fruit trees, palm trees, mangroves, ponds and lots of hidden sitting areas.
I often go to Ben Tre when I have a short break and I would never consider anywhere other than this Farmstay as I always feel at home and I love the boat cruises they offer. Yes, the prices have gone up considerably in the past 2 years, but everything is available from the same place: (puppies), cruise, free bicycles, bike rental, delicious food and above all, a very convivial atmosphere. The whole establishment is run based on trust, as you help yourself to drinks straight from the fridge and report the number of beverages consumed upon check out. Duc and Yen, I wish you all the best and I’ll see you again in June/July. Thank you for an amazing break 🙏🏼

Very relaxing atmosphere. Has a couple of different tours available and you can rent a motorcycle to easily go to the center of the town. The food was quite good, but since getting to centrum without a motor or other transportation was hard, it was slightly limiting. The rooms were large and had an AC and passively cooled through the classical vietnamese room design. The receptionist spoke great English and was helpful with providing a taxi and booking for later. This is more of a place to take a step back and just relax in a picturesque setting with gorgeous trees canals and hammocks. If you've just come from a large city or just need a little bit of time to rest, this is the perfect place for you.

Same with its name, the homestay is 1 side covered by the water coconut along the small peaceful river. The place is quiet, peaceful. Bungalow are big and comfort with air-con, mosquito net, fan, lighting, hot water, etc… The small restaurant can server you breakfast and other meals subject to pre-order. They have many kinds of local food with very nice taste. Motorbike can access direct to the homestay while car can park about 50m away from the homestay to drop-off. Car parking available with a short distance - you will have the support from the owner to the parking place. They have some activity during your stay like cycling along the small alley to see the villager life, boating, river tour, etc…. The homestay owner is super friendly and helpful. Love this place and highly recommend

Very peaceful atmosphere after the hustle of Saigon. Duc and his family are amazing hosts, excellent cooks and it is clear that they truly love the Mekong. Rooms are comfortable and clean, and the open air dining area with accessible cold beer makes for the perfect retreat. Definitely explore the networks of paths in the countryside with someone from the hostel on a bike. Wonderful.

Really nice stay and good value for money! It’s my second time back and the new part “riverside” is a nice upgrade from the previous location which is also decent and still in use, 300m apart. Bungalows are nice and basic with comfy bed sheets and pillows. Location is lush and green, a short bike ride from local village life and the town of Ben Tre.

Beautiful, peaceful, friendly. Extended stay from 3 to 5 nights. Loved cycling to the islands, to Ben Tre town, down the river to the flower market. Good breakfast mix of local noodle soup, exotic fruits, bread and eggs. Enjoyed the jungle animal sounds and Vietnamese karaoke. Recommended.
