The Mandarin Homestay

Richard (Son) is a very kind and helpful host cum tour guide. He well prepared every single request and need for our stay. Every activity and experience is worth for time and money. Rowing SUP while enjoying sunset on Mekong river and then having delicious foods at the fishing camp are incredible. Strongly recommend to try Mekong Smile Tour and enjoy local experience at The Mandarin Homestay.
P.s: really lucky to be invited to join their special party called “đám giỗ miền Tây” and the karaoke with traditional songs of “ca cổ”

It's a great experienced visiting this place. Nature is so perfect. One of those good memories to bring home in the Philippines.

Son è stato un padrone di casa eccellente. La sua famiglia ci ha accolto con un drink appena arrivati e dopo un'oretta di riposo di hanno preparato un pranzo di tutto rispetto. Mia sorella è vegana e si è preso cura delle sue esigenze. Nel pomeriggio ci ha portato in giro in bici per il villaggio, raccontandoci informazioni preziose sulla cultura locale. Abbiamo preso un caffè vietnamita al tramonto e poi siamo tornati indietro per cena. L'indomani sveglia all'alba per la gita a Long Xuyen, dove siamo stati al mercato galleggiante e abbiamo fatto colazione in un'allevamento di coccodrilli. Per finire corso di spring roll a casa e poi navetta per tornare a Ho Chi Minh. Tornerei sicuramente!

Wir hatten eine tolle Tour mit Son. Das Homestay ist sauber und gepflegt. Die einzelnen Unternehmungen waren gut durchdacht und habeb uns sehr gefallen. Das Essen war lecker und wir durften(auch nachdem wir schon länger in Vietnam unterwegs waren) immer wieder neue Früchte entdecken und probieren. Das einzige Manko war (zumindest bei uns) das Auto mit dem wir abgeholt wurden. Dabei handelte es sich um einen Chevrolet Spark. Das Auto bietet kaum Stauraum und somit kann es probleme beim transportieren vom Gepäck geben. Unsere 2 Backpacks passten zum Glück in den Kofferraum... mit normalen Koffern hätte dies nicht funktioniert.
Aber dennoch eine Empfehlung wert und wir sind dankbar für diese Erfahrung.

Wir haben zu zweit eine Tour bei Son gemacht und eine Nacht im Homestay übernachtet. Es war fabelhaft! Wir haben uns nicht einmal gefühlt als würden wir eine Tour machen. Eher als würden wir einen Freund besuchen der uns zeigt wie und wo er lebt. Besser kann man das Mekong Delta unserer Meinung nach nicht erkunden. Wir hatten mit Son eine tolle Zeit und tolles Essen und tolle Gespräche :)

Phong cảnh rất thiên nhiên, thoáng đãng. Có nhiều góc, cảnh chụp ảnh đẹp, phục vụ nhiệt tình, chu đáo.
