Phat Quang Pagoda

Solemn atmosphere, spacious space, enthusiastic staves, tasty food. This is one of the greatest pagoda to go in southern Vietnam. I think that this pagoda should have more parking lots for visitors. A thing should be paid attention to is that this pagoda has many high slopes, people should be more careful to avoid injuries.

Found truthful devotion of the people as well as the temple to its people. Food was serve to the people which i believe were free.

I did not expect Tltoilets were clean and spacious.

Enlightenment Day in Thien ton Phat Quang pagoga. There are over 42.000 people came here to participate in this event. This is a special day of Buddhism with many meanful activities. I'm sure that will turn back this place next time.

Calm, beautiful and specific place. I celebrated Buddha celebration with more than 5000 people there! ❤ We meditated, ate, prayed and sang together. It was amazing 🤗👍

The temple is situated in a narrow valley among the hills, surrounded by original and natural, dense vegetation. On arrival at the temple area, the peaceful atmosphere can be felt. One is able to relax and/or meditate undisturbed. Very polite and curteous temple helpers welcome visitors (when they are not busy), and invite them to enjoy some hospitality of water and vegan food plus juice/herbal tea, all prepared in the temple kitchen. This is all complimentary. I felt I wanted to make a small donation in appreciation for the complimentary hospitality, but had to search to find an appropriate donation box.

Access is by a long, stone stairway, or by "mega-safe" winched-trolley on tracks alongside the stairway. A third alternative is a steep and winding road (engage low gear).

A wonderful, relaxing experience. At the end of my first visit, while walking towards the stairway to exit, I realized that all the stress I had arrived with had dissipated.
Each visit to this temple since then has had the same effect.
A visit is strongly recommended.

This is a great place. I have stayed here several times. I'm a Christian but the Buddhist welcome me with open arms. Great people 😊

I had been there for a moth in 2014. That was a summer course for every students. Fortunately, I met a lot of friends from many provinces. It had been a really great memory in my childhodd that I would never forget. Now, I have lost their contact. Since 2014, I havent had any chances to come back to PQ Pagoda. But I hope one day in the future I can reunion with my teachers, my brothers, and my frineds

Buddha’s enlightenment day

Great for walking and jogging. Friendly people you meet on the way to the temple and back. Plus there is a shop that sells delicious home-made yogurt.

The turning point in my life is the moment I met the teachings of Buddha in a lecture of Master. Sending ll of my deepest gratitude to people, who consolidate for the development of Buddhism.

Here is where to go learn about buddha. Pagoda very nice. At top of mountain. Many people and monks speak english. You can watch and learn, no need to do anything. Learn about karma. Easy to get taxi from HCM or Vung Tau. No need pay just make a donation of what you can that will help orher people. Monks share food with all people and help people poor. Now I live USA and go this pagoda Each year. Makes my life better. Maybe this place can change your life too. Make your life happy same as me.

Center of the mountain or a valley no idea😁, but its really amazing, friendly monks some of them speaks english well😁, im surprised coz they feed people who come and the food is good
