Little paradise in the Mekong Delta. Beautiful pool and garden making you feel like you are in a tropical island. Simple but elegant and comfortable accommodation. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. We had a tiny issue in our room, which was fixed within an hour and was compensated with a free cooking class. Top notch customer service.
The massage wasn't wow so you could enjoy it elsewhere.
The only negative in this place would be the weak water pressure, if you have long hair, be patient 😅

We had a fabulous stay at Mekong Home, a boutique hotel in the Mekong delta. Personalised service,awesome food in a stunning location. We did the sundown boat tour and thoroughly enjoyed an easy island cycle tour of 15km. Look out for Tang 8 for a coffee on your cycle route. Enjoy a dip in the awesome pool after your ride to cool down. We ate all meals at the hotel (not many options close by) and they were all fabulous and local wine not bad either 👍🏻

It's already been 3 weeks since our return to Europe and we still dream about this place. A hidden gem in the Mekong Delta!

Loved our stay at Mékong Home. Rooms with AC, beautifully designed and decorated, food was delicious, activities very well organized. Our 2 young kids had fun bike riding and fishing in the pond. The parents (us) really enjoyed their hot stones massages. Everything went super smoothly. The quality of a 5 stars hotel with the feeling of a family homestay. We will Come back. Thanks a lot!

My north - south 5Hs Viêtnam trip (Hanoi, Halong Bay, Hue, Hoi An and Ho Chi Minh) had been a full on, hi-octane, va va vroom experience. So I decided that a side trip to the Mekong Delta slotted in between two short stays at HCM would be a life saver.

I watched YouTube videos for intel and decided I did NOT want the tourist version of the Mekong. I wanted something off piste, Crocodile Dundee.

I wanted to stay in a base that was raw, exotic and remote “by the still waters”, but with comfort and tiny touches of luxury.

I wanted an oasis of such serenity that I would only leave to go on a sampan trip where the guide rows with her feet through a narrow tributary overhung with coconut trees and mango groves.

I wanted delicious food, funny friendly hosts and a huge grass-roofed bungalow in a jungle setting.

I wanted Mekong Magic……and I found it all at MEKONG HOME!

Good instincts and careful research made Ben Tre my target destination for three nights without any tours save for my idyllic bespoke sampan trip which was arranged for me by Mekong Home together with a short sunset cruise along a broad stretch of the Mekong proper, embarking directly from Mekong Home which sits right on the river!

The organisation of transfers from and back to HCM had worried me as Ben Tre is remote but Mekong Home arranged it all for me door to door and it was well worth the uplift.

The manager and staff were gorgeous. I got an opportunity to polish up my French. The food was fabulous and the manager was so lovely he made sure I got my favourite dishes!

I loved my villa, I believe one of only ten, with a terrace that looked out onto a teeny weeny, picturesque tributary of the ubiquitous Mekong River.

I suppose you could use Mekong Home as a base from which to do lots of invigorating and exciting tours, but once ensconced with a cocktail in hand, by one of the most stunning petite pools you could imagine, with luxuriant overhanging palm trees, exquisite birdsong and turquoise butterflies, I did not want to leave Home!

If you are looking for a relaxing few days in the Mekong Delta region but with the option of doing all the activities they offer you on long day tours from Saigon, this is the place. I wanted to cycle in the delta, and thought it could be nice to take a boat tour, but I also wanted to relax by a pool and eat and drink well. Mekong Home fitted the bill exactly. Fantastic food, beautiful "resort", attentive hosts, great suggestions for local bike rides on the free bikes and a good tour of local artisans. You pay more than most places in the area, certainly for the food, but I would not hesitate to return here for some more relaxation.

This was such a delightful surprise. Beautifully located on the river, it is a little haven of peace and tranquility. We were made to feel very welcome. There is a lovely little swimming pool which we enjoyed. The cookery class in the evening was an added bonus as well as being taught how to catch shrimp and pick coconuts - not very successfully on on our part! We also really enjoyed the bicycle ride. The food and service was fantastic. We really wished we’d had a second night here. Room was also very comfortable and spacious.

Fantastic place! Very calm and quiet on a river bank, with an absolutely beautiful garden and great swimming pool. Tasty food and very helpful personnel with nice recommendations how to spend time.

It has been amazing staying in this wonderful place surronded by tropical nature. Meticolous attention to details to let guests feel like they’re at home. Vietnamese lunch and dinner simply delicious. Fresh and selected local foods. Staff kind and warm. Nice trip to near villages to see how people live. If you want to visit Ben Tre province you must stop here.

As others reviews are saying, this is a gem of a place. It's a family run homestay, with a gorgeous pool and lots of green spaces. The service is superb, personal and attentive. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. While you can take a bike to find other food alternatives relatively close by, I highly recommend eating there at least once. The room was nicely spacious, with air conditioner and a pretty river view. It's significantly more expensive than other local alternatives, but you're getting so much value for it.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Mekong Home is the perfect place to experience rural Vietnam. This small and beautiful resort was so relaxing and quiet. Beautiful river cruises to see the sunset, bikes you can borrow to ride the local villages and foliage-lined paths, three outdoor riverside pavilions to have a cocktail or a drink beside the river before dinner. The meals are superb - the best food I had in Vietnam. Beautiful surrounds with towering palms and a pretty garden, the rooms were uniquely and charmingly appointed, excellent aircon. The staff were informal and friendly, giving individual attentions to their guests, and you felt very welcome. Amongst the flowers and plants there is a very pretty pool, which was a lovely place to cool down. Such a great place and if I return to Vietnam it will be to stay at Mekong Home again. Loved it.

Me and my friend stayed here for 2 nights and didn’t want to leave this paradise! The place is like heaven with a beautiful pool, gorgeous rooms and the best service we have experienced in Vietnam (everyone is super attentive but not pushy).The breakfast was amazing (all locally sourced) and they accommodated us as vegetarians with an amazing dinner. We arrived late at night (11pm) and were greeted with a delicious vegetarian dinner. The lovely manager also helped us to book our bus and boat to Cambodia. We will definitely return when in Vietnam!

This little gem is located in the heart of the Ben Trè area on the river bank. It’s a real glimpse of local life. Van and his team are impeccable hosts and look after you really well. The room is simple but clean and with everything you need, plus gorgeous views. The tours offered are fantastic and great value and show local life in the coconut industry. The food is fresh and yummy. Just say if there is anything you can’t/don’t eat and they will avoid it, otherwise try everything they give you and you’ll eat delicious things you’ll never have tried before such as taro soup, coconut salad and banana cake unlike anything we have in the west. I also had one of the best massages of my life ! Just book here, arrive and go with the flow of everything they offer you. 2 nights was perfect but we could have easily stayed 3 and made use of the bikes to cycle round the area. For £400 for 2 nights, all our food, drinks, tours and a massage you cannot go wrong here. Amazing stay! Thanks to the team here.

We really enjoyed our stay at Mekong Home! Incredible experience in the Mekong area with fantastic homemade local food with fresh ingredients and. I was very impressed by the friendly staff, beautiful natural gardens, and delicious food from start to finish. We took advantage of the bikes and explored the area. We also had a sunset cruise on Mekong Homes boat - amazing trip! By the way, the rooms are very stylish!

What an absolute gem, if you want to feel like you are in the middle of the jungle, with a beautiful food, beautiful pool and the kindest hosts, don’t skip here! The rooms are lovely and nicely decorated and the area is just incredible. We biked around all day and had our food cooked for us. We wish we didn’t have to leave :(

This homestay is a real gem in the Mekong ! Everything is perfect, from the amazing swimming-pool to the tasty home-cooked meals. The bungalows are spacious and comfy and the staff is the kindest. Bikes are at disposal and the owner can advise you on very nice loops to discover the whereabouts.

Excellent stay with affordable price for family and friends, right by the river. The room is charming and comfortable, the food is amazing (made by order, and whatever you want to eat). The pool is small but lovely. In the afternoon there's an option to take a boat ride and watch sunset on the river. The spa is also great. But the best thing about the place is how friendly and helpful the staff are, how the place makes you feel very personal and not some soulless expensive resort. Bonus point: two friendly doggies.

We, our family of 6 members (including 2 young kids) have booked 1 night there but definitely we could stay much longer!!! Even the rain didn't stop us to had a wonderful time with Khoa and his family!
The location is just right in middle of thousands coconut trees, all is GREEN...the swimming pool is so beautiful and the rooms very comfortable and well decorated!
the FOOD was just amazing, all was home made and fresh! We had chance to participate to a cooking class and everyone enjoyed so much!
In the next morning, Khoa brings us to visit the area by bicycles.

The best place to experience the warm hospitality of the Mekong Delta people. Lush location by the river, comfortable spacious rooms, delicious food cooked by local ladies, warm hospitality from the staff. Very attentive manager speaks very good English and French.
