This was a wonderful stay. The owners are very warm and welcoming, as well as extremely helpful. The hotel is right by the river, peaceful and surrounded by greenery. The rooms are very clean and well-equipped, and the beds comfortable. Sadly, we were only there for a day and a bit, but the next time I am back in Ben Tre, I will definitely return to Kiwi Oasis. Highly recommended!

Great place to stay; it is a bit more expensive but the combination of native or fluent English speaking staff, plenty of comfortable (and covered) lounging options make it ideal for a nice relaxing stop off from other more stressful travel. Plus it is very pleasantly quiet and dark at night!

The hotel offers free pedal bikes to get into town or to the nearby food. Additionally you can book river trips with the staff (sometimes Ken the Kiwi owner will even take you himself) and rent motorbikes - plus the staff will call to order pizza to be delivered, taxis to pick you up or even a pickup service to take you to the bus station to keep on keeping on.

Highly recommend checking it out if it's within your budget - included Western breakfast is great too!

The Oasis is a great little hotel right on the river. It's clean and quiet and the staff are excellent! We went on their boat tour with Hoang and thoroughly enjoyed it. She was personable and informative; she also helped us with numerous other details during our stay helping us to make the most of our time. On another day, based on the owner's recommendation, we borrowed bikes and rode over to a nearby island where cars are not allowed. The island is beautiful and peaceful, and the people were so friendly, calling hello to us as we rode by.

This is more of a home than it is a hotel. The family that runs it and the employees treat you with absolute respect and are there to help in every way. I had an absolutely wonderful time. I rented a bike and by the advice of the manager I ended up on a nearby island for a 4 hour bike ride. So relaxing and different from the big city of Saigon.

It's not near too much, so a taxi or bike ride is necessary for lunch and dinner. .

The "Coldest pool in all of Vietnam" is an absolute dream when the heat is too much!

A great, friendly place more like a home stay. We were welcomed warmly, had a nice room, and plenty of help and service was always available. Delicious western breakfast of eggs any style, tasty bread, and fresh fruit was a nice taste on home. We rented motorbikes from them and cruised the countryside, and the staff arranged a local tour which I would highly recommend. They also made it easy to get transport to the bus station. Have a stay if you make it to ben tre.

It's obviously not a five star hotel, but it ranks that rating as far as I'm concerned.

Well run, great pool, and lots of information on the area around Ben Tre, and things to do.

Other than that rather simple description it's a bit hard to explain.

However, in my opinion, after having done about 1500km in the Delta on a bicycle, this place is competently run, clean, and very good value for money.

Let’s not be under any illusions, you’re not going to get the ritz when you’re out in the Mekong sticks away from the much more commercialised Can Tho. But value for money and experience/location we found this place to be ideal. Bed is comfortable, air con operational and not noisy in the slightest.

The owners are both really friendly with helpful tips, there’s a huge map drawn on the courtyard wall to help you get your bearings and plan where to grab meals. There’s a nice cooled pool to use, hammocks to laze in and bikes (or scooters) for hire. We also bought an excellent half day morning delta boat trip around the tributaries, visiting a coconut processing operation and honey producers and a paddle through slim waterways where palms and banana trees hang low Into the water, so peaceful - Hong, our tour guide and duty manager of Oasis Kiwi, was really helpful and bubbly. Would definitely visit again if back in the area.

The owner's are friendly and very happy to give all sorts of useful and fun local knowledge about where to go and what to do. The atmosphere is relaxed, and you don't feel like you are staying in a sterile hotel. We left Ben Tree feeling like it was one of the nicest places we'd been to in Vietnam.

Very clean and lovely Hotel. Best Hotel in Vietnam so far. Not because it was the most beautiful but rather because it has the most lovely hospitality of the owners and stuff of the hotel. They take care about guest and are willing to help you to make you feel comfortable. Thanks!

Amazing place, the rooms were great for their price and the atmosphere was relaxed. The people working were content and the owner is a hell of a man. He has an incredible life story, an adventurous soul who has decided to retire and life leisurely in Ben tre. He is somewhat of a local celebrity and he knows a lot about the town and generally vietnam. He helped us out with getting bike and my friend and I had an amazing time biking to the island nearby. The ice coffee is to die for. It's only 20k VND and it's the best I've had so far. Ken if you're reading this thanks so much for talking to us and retelling your story, it was very interesting. I hope you'll remember us two for a while, the young Dutchman and Russian who helped you get your interview onto your computer.

Great hotel. Ken is a character and a half and will happily give you recommendations for the area. The staff was all really lovely and spoke English very well. Rooms were clean and breakfast was quite satisfying.

Simple, clean rooms, but go here for the staff! Do the bicycle route if you can - good look at the delta and the nature there! Cheap bicycles for rent, and nice hammocks and cold beer! Recommended!

While the rooms (and notably the showers) aren't reflective of five star luxury, the friendly staff, great location away from the main town but close to everything that is important (good coffee and food) makes this place a memorable experience. Highly recommended! Would go here again.

Stayed here for 3 weeks and realised that the hotel has the best English speaking crew I experienced in Vietnam. Great owner, very involved and great service by the people working here. Had a great stay!

Very accommodating hosts. Cold beer to enjoy while in the pool. Quiet area.
