The pharmacy staff is rude, slow and need s class in public relations. My wife was treated poorly when they shut down for lunch. Not a fan of the stayton store and will never shop there

Very clean and well organized. Found what I needed and was done very quickly.

They had everything I needed to make potato salad for a gathering this weekend. There was plenty of staff working too, so it was a really quick stop!

Everything went smoothly. I used their DriveUp & Go™ service because a recent injury makes it difficult to walk. They let me know what time my order would be ready, gathered the items I requested, and loaded them in once I let them know I was there. They had all the things I ordered and packed them with care. I liked the convenience and may still use the service after my injuries heal.

Hands down the friendliest and most helpful grocery store staff. I’ve shopped at a lot of Safeway’s in Oregon and California and this one is ALWAYS SUPER CLEAN. and ALWAYS HAS FRESH PRODUCE the deli folks are also on point and the items are fresh and not semi-gross like other deli shops. They don’t leave food on the shelf close to the expiration date like every other store (Roth’s Trader Joe’s Grocery Outlet) We shop here A LOT like twice a week and have had lots of opportunities to interact with staff and it has consistently been positive and they have gone out of their way to help us find what we need.

I go to this store nearly everyday. I know the staff, from being a frequent shopper, I always see many friends I know from the area, can always get what I need or receive a rain check. The staff are always willing to help in a variety of ways, getting additional help, if we forget our coupons or they are out they will scan one for us, they quickly and efficiently handle any pricing disputes and they return items quickly with no extra hassels.

Love the South Salem Safeway The guy that works evenings with the shorter hair she's just a gem it's always text to make sure your coupons are on there to get your discount and you only have to ask her she just herself and make sure she's always very friendly makes you feel like you want to shop there I don't go to anybody else but her she's not there I got to sell check out I don't care how much stuff I have in my cart

The place was clean and fully stocked. All the employees were helpful and friendly.

I love shopping at Safeway. Wide variety of substitute meats that we love. Also produce is always fresh. Absolutely love the berry bowls of fruit. Love the cut up ready to cook veggies. Good prices and amazing staff! Especially Stayton Oregon's Safeway

Great variety! Fresh vegetables and meat. Bakery fully stocked with yummy homemade stuff, especially fresh baked bread. Good wine section. Lines can be long around 6 pm but manager always present to keep flow quick.

GIANT HUGE "Everything in one HUMUNGUS building!!" only to save a few bucks? Tried that, NO THANKS! ***For me saving my sanity, being treated as an individual, as I calmly, take my time to find my familiar brands, as I am greeted by familiar, helpful employees. Now THEY shop for ME, making excellent choices as I have ordered. $$wise prices can be "matched" or better with research.

Nice store , most of the people are very friendly....food selection is very good....prices a tad bit on the high side. But I have been dealing with various SAFEWAYS for better than 70 years..so I would expect that they be doin sumptin right..

I had a RX pickup for a 3rd party delivery service to a nursing home. The pharmacy tech was very personable, friendly, and funny. If I had lived in the area, I would definitely come back here.

First grocery store I've been in since March 5, 2020. I was pleasantly surprised to see everyone in masks and social distancing. And I was THRILLED to get my first Covid-19 vaccine at the pharmacy! I had been trying 3 times a day for 2 weeks to get appointment! Yay Safeway!!!

Today was awesome at Safeway. I can't believe I actually went through the checkstand without waiting in line forever. The grocery clerk we had was awesome! I wish I had remembered his name I think he's new but he did a phenomenal job. He was faster than anybody I've ever seen there. Thank you, oh and I had my Pepsi yeppy.

So visited this safeway and was able to find what we needed with some staff help before going back to camp Dakota. Felt friendly and a nice size

The prices are higher than alot of stores, but being treated as if they appreciate your business more than makes up for it. Their deli has a good selection of hot foods and salads. They have everything on my list usually. If I have questions there is usually someone more than happy to help you.
