I am not your easy to fit, or easy to please customer when it comes to finding a formal comfortable dress. Thus, I was more than pleasantly surprised when I was in and out of The Pink Orchid Shop in half an hour.
To say I was pleased is an understatement. Lara was ‘spot on’ knowing the style that looked best on me. Not in the least pressuring, rather easy going, supportive, understanding and with beautiful taste.
“Try this on, looks better than on hanger “ and in quick agreement, no pushing, “no, not for you”… the next dress suggestion, I hesitantly tried, yet, felt years younger and even, might I say ‘attractive! Even the price was attractive!
The clincher was the gown that I tried on for my granddaughter’s wedding! Oh my goodness, so pretty, just my style, so comfortable, elegant, all rolled into one! And Lara had the seamstress right there with a smile and the know how to help the small size fit on my body.
All in all , shopping there today was a positive experience! How many ppl can say that?? The dressing rooms were comfortable, the bathroom was clean, Lara was a pleasure to shop with and to guide with her expertise and flair for fashion.
My daughter only shops at Pink Orchid. I after todays’ experience, I understand why she does!

I can't rave enough about this store and the attention to detail and care I received from Lara and Debra. I walked into the store in need of a special dress for an event that evening. Note: I despise shopping. Despise it. I was filled with dread as I declared, "I hate shopping. I have no idea what will look good on me, but I need a dress." That was all it took. Immediately, I was given a dressing room and dresses were brought to me to try on. This was the best experience of my life in a clothing store. Not only did I find a dress that looked great on me, but they had a seamstress in the store to make the necessary alterations right then and there! I was able to wear this gorgeous dress for my event. I can't thank Pink Orchid enough. People were so kind and welcoming. I will most definitely shop here again.

Their selection is exquisite. And, they perform magic with any alterations that are required. I seriously don't know how they are able to make things fit, that I never would imagine could fit. And they make it look as if nothing was done to it. MAGIC!! And such a pleasure to work with

I have bought both gowns and dresses for family weddings and special occasions as well as clothing for every day. The staff is friendly and helpful and honest about how something looks on you. There is a seamstress on the premises who will do any alterations necessary at a reasonable cost and sometimes right on the spot. You walk out with a perfectly fitting outfit and a great experience!

I love this store! They have such amazing stuff at all different price levels and so upscale. The owner Lara, is super attentive, friendly and will work with you to make your experience so pleasant. You literally feel like you have a personal shopper with you throughout the store! I definitely recommend the Pink Orchid for a one of a kind shopping experience!

I came in for fabulous clothes for a weekend affair - Friday night dinner, Shabbat Shul, and less fancy afternoon dress too. They had everything I needed in one place. The staff was helpful, kept bringing me more options and giving targeted feedback as I tried them on - it’s like shopping with a good friend. And the excellent on-site tailor made my choices fit perfectly, ready for next day pickup. Win win win!

We had a week in New York and I wanted to have a dress made for my daughter's Bat Mitzvah. I called Lara and she said to come in.
They made a gorgeous dress - exactly what my daughter wanted in 3 days!!!! They also found a dress for my other daughter to wear and made it fit her perfectly and added some bling! I can't say enough - it was the best experience!
