Parker's Kitchen

This store is new, every store needs some time to work out defects in operations. It’s a given with any new store of any kind with any company. My only issue with my experience here is that I asked what vapes they had and was pointed to the D8/Hemp vapes instead of being asked “for nicotine or hemp?” But like I said, every new store needs some time.
Also, to corporate and city planning, this store does not have a protected left turn upon exitingand it can be hard to get in and out of the site as the parking lot and size of the lot is pretty tight and really not made with adequate space for the amount of business this store gets.
So if you’re not a good driver or have a large vehicle or a vehicle with a trailer it’s best to continue on to HT Gas station or Dodges.

Once you go through the sign up process that connects your checking account to the Parker's card, you can get the Parker's price on gas. It is currently $3.17 at the 17S store in Charleston SC. The hitch being, the pump cuts off at least twice before your tank is full. I have tried various pumps at this station so it's not a fluke. Another words, know how much gas your tank holds and keep pumping. The restrooms are clean and handicap accessible. These pics are 2 weeks old.

New store with a beautiful and clean look. The store and bathrooms were clean but the grab and go food offerings were lacking. Despite the nice look, no receipt for gas... had to walk into the store and wait in line. Staff also tries to force you to use the self checkout while they just stand there. There is only way one to drive in and out so it gets congested especially when their delivery trucks are blocking an entire lane into the store parking area.

It is a gas station with some gas station food. I stop here whenever I go to Charleston, since if you are a Parker's club member, their gas is about 10¢ cheaper than most of the other stations around. Also there is a light so it is easy in, easy out.

There is never any receipt paper at any pump. Makes paying at the pump pointless if you need a receipt.

I waited for this to open because I have always loved Parkers. It's very clean and has everything you could want. BUT...Two people working at the hot food section just chatting with each other and never acknowledged me while I was trying to decide. Three people at the registers that were just there to tell me to use the self service. So 5 people at 6:15am working just to tell me to do it myself. I always liked Parkers in GA because of how friendly everyone was. This isn't the case here. Very disappointing.

If you like kiosks( and I don't) you might like this place.if you want advertised prices, you have to have thier rewards card ( witch

Mine and my husband's Parkers cards, as well as another card, were all refused at the pump. When I went inside, there was a sign saying something like all credit cards could not be processed... Cash only. But the several employees, who HAD to see they had waiting customers, merely talked and laughed in a back room. I found a kiosk, which I shouldn't have HAD to use, as there were obviously employees present. The kiosk wanted to know the number at the pump we were using. I had no idea and didn't think I should have to walk out to get it, especially with the employees inside, ignoring their customers. Ridiculously bad experience.

If you want the assistant manager to do her job and greet you make sure you speak to her first, per her words to me. Orientation tells you to greet and welcome all customers and be polite. This did not happen!!!

I would rate a 0 if there was that choice. Terrible chicken and fish. Tasted like it was cooked in old oil and no seasoning. Was cold on both. Never again.
