Walmart Supercenter

I ordered a cake for my daughter's birthday. I expected to be pleased but not completely WOW'd! I was WOW'd when I opened the box. This cake is beautiful and artistic! Thank you to the decorator for taking such care to make it lovely 🤩

Had a flat tire in Athens, AL on our way back from fall break. Needed 1 new tire to make the 2 hr and 45 minute drive back home. The guys were running behind and it was getting close to closing time, but they quickly put the new tire on and got me back on the road within an hour or so. Even took the time to put my spare tire back underneath the car. VERY SATISFIED with the workers in the Auto Shop. Thanks Again for being so accommodating.

If you are in a Semi-Truck always call and verify parking, I was there Bobtail and had no problems easy in getting out a little bit of a pain with traffic but not to bad.

This location is awesome! Because I don't always enjoy the feeling of being confined within thick crowds, I'm usually a darter whenever I enter a large store like supercenters or huge markets and this location stays incredibly busy. But, from management, to the employees, to the customer service, and the atmosphere as a whole... I thoroughly enjoyed it all! HUGE shout out to the amazingly hardworking staff and especially to the assistant manager, Tonya, who didn't hesitate to assist me, provide her contact info if I needed additional assistance, and to follow up to make sure there wasn't anything else that I needed.

This Walmart location is officially one of my top 3 in the state and that's for many reasons: they're clean, organized, helpful, welcoming, and there is never a dull moment! I also had the pleasure of doing some marketing here and had crowds and crowds of people at my table throughout my work day and it felt as though I was only there for a blink of a second. This location is booming with business and there is definitely a fast-paced atmosphere. I had so many interactions with the customers and employees that at the end of the day, I walked away feeling completely accomplished and satisfied. If you're ever in the neighborhood and need to make a quick stop for food, apparel, tools, sporting goods, car services, pet supplies, gas, gardening, photo development, etc., this location is excellent! A+!

Nice store and was able to get what I needed as well as get out quickly even though it's holiday time.

Crowded as usually but they always have what I need. I order online a lot and never had an issue.

Walmart is my go to place weather I am in a hurry or taking my time. Overall I've always had excellent service and they always have some cool stuff on clearance....you do have the occasional wrinkle as with any business. The Athens store does a really good job of keeping the store clean and uncluttered. I'm definitely a self checkout guy so I was glad to see that they updated the register's in those lanes!!

Never have a problem finding what I need and the employees were helpful.

Yesterday didn't know how to use gift card. Very nice and funny lady helped me get through process. Today Very nice lady helped me at customer service. I could tell they actually seemed to enjoy being at their job. Thank you. I imagine they have to deal with a bunch of nasty folks.

Good location & family oriented professional customer services.

I don't understand why this Walmart location doesn't have Grocery Pick-Up service. We have many people here in Athens that would benefit from this service.

Edit 8/9/20: I am very grateful this location has Walmart Grocery Pick up & Delivery.
One thing that has bugged me is the parking lot. A lot of people have no common courtesy of other drivers and pedestrians. Publix has stop signs at the crosswalk near the entrance, which needs to be at this location as well.

Athens really needs a second Walmart location considering how much this city has grown over the years.

Nice quality items for a pretty standard price. When you want a large variety of something... this is where to go!

Workers are very helpful. Prices fit my budget. Main complaint is that more checkouts needs to be opened

I went into the vision department and they were outstanding.. They fixed my broken glasses at no charge and had everything I needed in accessories at low prices.. I'm still not a Wal Mart fan of the overall environment but their pharmacy and vision departments are hard to beat.

The associate in electronics was so helpful & truly cheerful!
I talked with another associate that was working in the infants clothes, but I asked her a question that wasn't related to her dept., she was so friendly & also quite helpful. She directed me exactly where I needed to go.
The associate over the self checkout was very friendly & jovial.
The lady at the door in my way out was extremely nice.
It was a most pleasant experience!

Its Walmart🤷‍♀ pretty sure you know what to expect. They are mostly all the same. This one is less busy than one in the city that's it.

Pick up today did a really great job fixing my order. Some things got left out, but I called and they got it all fixed! 💖💖💖 I super appreciate their willingness to fix everything and how quickly they did!
Mistakes happen and they seriously know how to resolve them!
