Good mom and pop store that's small but always seem to have what you want. Produce, fire wood, ice-cream etc.

We have bought wood there for about 5 years. This time we went up to get a truckbed full and the piles were unseasoned and too heavy to burn for sure. Meanwhile, there was a MOUNTAIN of Very Seasoned cut wood in the yard. The largest pile I have ever seen on site before. I asked if they sell that on any days and the man coldly explained that “You waited too long in the season to get it. It’s not my fault!” (Early Oct) I thought he was joking. He was not. He was actually mean. He is simply sitting on SEASONED wood and refuses to sell it. It is so misleading to have that enormous pile of great firewood and not offer ANY of it! We left really disappointed to be treated like this after years of purchasing from them. The woman there has always been wonderful to us. We will sadly go elsewhere 😢

I stopped by today to check out their firewood and on my way out I was stopped by an older man in an SUV who wanted to know what I was doing on their property. I told him I asked about firewood in the store and wanted to see how large the piles are for sale and to make sure it was dry because last year I purchased firewood here that was too wet to burn. He just waved his hands at me and drove away. Not very good customer service if you are going to accuse me of doing something wrong just for checking out your firewood before purchasing it.

Gave them a call to get firewood based on a recommendation on our neighborhood page. I specifically asked if they had seasoned firewood since it was late in the year (December). I was assured they had plenty, so I placed an order for half a cord. They delivered the wood the same day, which is great. What's not so great is the wood isn't even close to being seasoned. I have to split it into kindling-sized pieces to get it to burn at all. I'm sure it would be fine if I had a year or two to let it season in my woodshed, but am frustrated they weren't honest about it in the first place.
