Full disclosure, I am trying to be funny and useful for this review. Someone recently messaged me on Yelp and told me I was trying to be funny on the wrong site. I thought about it for a while and he’s half right. I am trying to be funny, but Yelp is a great site to do so. People literally have the option to click "useful", "funny", and/or "cool" after reading a review. I wonder if this guy is also messaging people who he thinks are trying to be useful or cool on Yelp and telling them this is the wrong site for that. In his defense, there is no button for “trying to be funny”. If there was that’s probably what he would click for the majority of my reviews. It would have made more sense if he tried to contact me through Google reviews, but that wasn't the case either. Anyways, on with the review. I hate shopping, but everyone needs shoes, unless you’re a nudist or extremely cheap. I wonder if that’s the reason why nudist become nudist. They must save a fortune on not buying clothes. I’m cheap, but not cheap enough to become a nudist, so I got three pairs of shoes at DSW. One pair is for when I want to feel fly, another pair is for quickness and efficiency (no laces), and the last pair is for when I want to be taller. DSW is definitely the place to go if you're searching for any one of those things.
That’s my review...I hope it was somewhat useful and funny. I didn’t really smile or laugh when I was writing it, so why would it make anyone else. I think that guy messaged me because he wants me to be better. Instead of trying to be funny, he wants me to just be funny. My goal for my next review is to make myself and him laugh or smile. Sadly I don’t think I’ll ever satisfy him and even if I do, I’ll never know. Anyways, thanks DSW for helping me find my shoes. Hopefully, I won't need to shoe shop for the next 10 years now.

Clean and orderly store. Friendly and helpful staff, with such a wide variety of shoes for every taste and occasion, socks/hosiery, and accessories at good prices.

Our gang, as a rule, are very big fans of DSW. We found this store on the way to Monterey - shopped on the way to and on the way home. Good Displays - good merchandise - nice staff and Prices! Wish the Discount Area in the back had better mark downs.

Always find something cute there. The only thing is the off gassing of plastics and rubber. That CANNOT be healthy to work in there. If I am in there for a long time, I get nauseated and headache. God bless the great cashiers. They are very dedicated and nice to me when I am there.

I was helped by Kristine on June 28, 2018 and she was extremely helpful. I had a return that had been purchased at a different store and I was looking for a different size. When I got up to the check out counter, Kristine took me around to where the shoes I was looking for were located (something that I would have had to look around for) and helped me look for the correct size. The store did not have the size I was looking for and so Kristine located them online, ordered them for me, and had them shipped to my house. I'm so glad I stopped in and will definitely return.

I love hitting up the clearance section, because they almost always have terrific finds at great prices. Hard to beat! Plus it's a nice atmospheric to browse, and the staff is helpful if you have any questions.

They carry great light shawls

Greeted upon entering by employee; mask is required and hand sanitizer is available. Socially distanced shopping is taped/marked on floors and checkout has a plastic shield between cashier and customer. Disposable footie socks are underneath the seats where you sit to try on shoes. The cashier, Griffin, sanitized the entire checkout area between every customer. Both employees were friendly and helpful!

Are you kidding, why go anywhere else? Great selection and always the right size in stock. but serious now the worst part...keeping my wife out of the store!
