Sierra Minit Mart

In Porterville .. ALL the Sierra Mini Marts are go-to’s! They stand out amongst your regular corner store; you’re not gonna go into an unconditioned store with hot beer and out dated and expired products..!? No! So happy not much has changed since being under new management! I got favorites at all 3 stores but overall all the employees have good customer service besides a couple bad eggs! However Post Malone is my favorite at the Newcombe store and the older gentleman that usually works with him.

When they say 24hrs at this store they actually mean 24hrs, unlike the Henderson location! Thank you for keeping the store open when the Henderson store fails to do their part!

You can tell by the atmosphere that things have changed since the new owners have taken over. Not really that small town vibe when you are in there anymore.

The store is fine and most of the employees are nice. But then you get to their manager Trudy. Can be nice sometimes, or like most of the time, extremely rude to customer and employee alike. I'm not going into details but it's bad enough that you hear rumors about it around town. And if you haven't just drop in and see for yourself. Hopefully you get her on a good day but if not brace yourself.

I received poor customer service. The woman at the resister treated me extremely poorly. I asked a simple question. I asked why there wasn’t food today on Tuesday June 18th. Exactly what the paper said. She said there cleaning it. Must I add how rude ‘trudy’ was? I truly hope that’s her name. She made me want to never shop there again. I called to complain and she shut me out. She even hung up on me said there’s nothing she can do. What exactly do you mean? How can you be so rude to people that come into your establishment. I wouldn’t employ someone like that. She is so rude. It is the worst customer service I have ever encountered in my life. I am glad that I didn’t blow up on her in person. Which is why I called on the phone. She told me she’s really busy. Hm. Really too busy to hear a complaint?? How can an establishment be okay with that? Having someone so rude working there. If I didn’t get her name right. I’ll give a description. She was white with blonde hair and a ponytail. She was older with blue eyes. Point is. She is rude. I’ll come in there any day when she isn’t there. I won’t spend money if she is working. Such a rude woman.

The lettuce is orange, cheese is hard and low portions of meat. Asked for salt and pepper and didn't get it. Someone needs to lose their food handler's license. The server was careless and saw there was clearly bad lettuce. I know bad lettuce when I see it, from my work work it's a health hazard to give customer's this

They over charge and if you order from hot food they don't give you the amount you ordered. They will rip you off every chance they get. Not going there anymore!
