The Nest on Cherry Street

I've attended a couple of the Drink-Clay-Love workshops over the past couple months - So. Much. Fun. I went into it expecting some kind of purple-glaze/pinot's palette experience (where I'd walk out with something I'd later tell people my 5 year old niece made for me) - but workshops at The Nest far exceeded my expectations. You learn technique, the owner and assistant are extremely nice, fun, and personal, and the item you make is something you will ACTUALLY put out on your shelf and/or use. The work-shops are at their studio on 3rd street - so if you sign up - take note of the address. The ambiance is nice (and not like a kid's painting table). They offer a great selection of drinks (which is included in the workshop price). And you will be impressed by how your item turns out. If you are looking for something new to try with your friends/family - I would 100% recommend :-)

Clay classes have been the best experiences I’ve had since moving to Tulsa. And the candles are out of this world. Love this place!!

I think everyone in Tulsa knows you have to have a candle from here - and it’s true! I have the driftwood and it’s my favorite ever. I easily get headaches from candles and hardly have them lit for very long. That’s not the case with these - I can have my candle lit all evening with no problem. I have yet to bring it back to recycle, but I definitely will when the time comes.

We had such a fun time last night at their first clay workshop! The guys were so hospitable and it was a treat trying something new. Looking forward to round two already! Thanks guys!

I paid Nest a visit last week. I was trying to figure out what made this place different then it hit me today while I was using a new spoon I bought from them. "I can actually use this" That's it!!! Everything on their shelves are things you can actually use. The other kicker that had me walking out with two candles is that they believe in that accent is better than statement in their candles. The minimalist approach to their scented candles is pleasant and not everything is magnolia to the Nth power. If you are in Tulsa check them out.

I have been to this store many times and have been so impressed with their merchandise! I actually had all of my Christmas shopping done in a “one stop shop.” The suggestions were taylored to the needs of my family. The owners are so very friendly, and I am truly excited to support a local business in the future!

If you haven’t tried their candles, you are totally missing out! One of a kind!

I LOVE this store and its warm and friendly owners! The fact that their adorable bulldog hangs around the shop keeping company, is just icing on the cake. Everytime I go in, I struggle to leave with only a few things. I'd like to just bring the entire shop, staff, bulldog and ALL, home with me.:) My mother and I just discovered this treasure of Cherry Street and I was so taken by its offerings, that I went back the next day and spent more than I did the first time. Prices are FANTASTIC and quality is SUPERB. Local artisans , antiques, handmade candles, linens...there's something for everyone. I unfortunately do not live in Tulsa any longer, but whenever I come to visit my mother, this shop will be the next stop I make.:))) Thank you gentleman for a truly beautiful shopping experience.

I love this little store! There are so many novelties and decorations, I think there will be something for anybody. The prices were great and the staff was energetic and engaging, making sure we had all questions answered. 😊

One of the best local shops by far. I love their candles, they last forever and smell so good! Their staff and customer service is wonderful, I find myself in this store far too often. A true local gem I'd send my best friend to.

The Nest is One of the most unique stores in Tulsa! The folks who own the store and all who work there are so kind and helpful. Stop in and grab a candle-you won’t buy a candle elsewhere ever again! The Nest creates the best!

I live in Oklahoma City but am in Tulsa quite often and discovered the lavender candles! I’m preparing for some length of time at home recuperating and bought a lavender candle for every room in my home! Love these good people!

This place is really cute. The staff are friendly. There was a dog here!!!! So adorable. The candles smell amazing and the collection of unique kitchen and home decor is spectacular.

A burning candle is a must in my home. If you haven’t tried these, you’re truly missing out! I’m hooked and will never burn a candle that isn’t from The Nest. Intriguing and loved thier candle selection. Definitely on point with the season and loved the enthusiasm of the front seat associate. It's so hard to find a party that will engage with a customer. I will be back for sure to shoo again!!!
