Magoos Pet Outlet

Stumbled upon this great pet store while visiting the new Ace hardware on Union lake road. They have a large selection of items for every pet you can imagine. They have specials daily on dog food and many other products. Well run, well stocked and friendly staff make this a great place to go. Much easier to park and get in and out then PetSmart and much easier to find items cuz the store isn't so huge.

Such friendly staff. Love the specials on dog food and treats. You can also get pet vaccinations there on scheduled days. With three dogs, this saves me quite a bit of money.

Pretty good prices. The girls at the desk were super helpful and allowed our dog to try on a few harnesses before purchasing the one we liked

This is our favorite local shop for our dogs. The staff is so kind and passionate about dogs and other pets. The prices are very cheap. If you go to Pet Smart, Pet Supplies PLUS or any other big companies, I guarantee you will pay double the price of what you can get at Magoos Pet Outlet. They also sell some animals such as snakes, guinea pigs, beta fish, bunnies, birds, and I have even seen some chinchillas, and I'm sure there are many more. Magoo's hosted a VIP Pet Care clinic yesterday and we were treated very well by everyone. Free dog food was given out to clinic visitors, and we saved money with great discounts on our animal food purchases there, as well. (The clinic also had a coupon...and the vet and her whole team were wonderful too!) Also, the Magoo staff members were very kind about cleaning up our dog's accident. Thank you for making your place so warm and welcoming and we'll come back again soon! (We hope the reptile situation was resolved as we didn't see anything wrong, but read old reviews about this that were not positive. Thanks.)

They have an abundance of different varieties for animals. I think the dog section is amazing compared to any other store. The cat section was ok not super impressed as I was with the dog section but still a good variety. I find the most amazing values for my dog that are healthy. I won't shop anywhere else for my dog's needs.

Love this place. Prices are always reasonable and we hardly ever walk out of this store without an extra toy or treat that we weren't planning on buying, but couldn't pass up because it was so cheap.

As I understand it, this store frequently gets food products that are near to their sell-by date, so they will sell them at drastically reduced prices. We have saved bundles picking up dog teeth cleaning chews this way. Regularly-priced items are also just about always less expensive than other chain-type pet stores in the area.

Another thing about this place: the staff is very friendly. The owner is great as well. One morning we showed up about 15 min before opening time. We didn't realize we were early until we walked up to the door and saw the hours posted in the window. We were about to walk back to our car and wait until it opened but the owner ran to the door and let us in.

Quaint, clean pet supply store with a decent selection, competitive pricing, and a wonderful/friendly staff.

I was promptly greeted with a smile, the staff inquired about my needs and expressed a desire to help. All of which felt truly genuine. You'd think that being genuine and eager to help would be a standard practice for all retail/service organizations but it certainly hasn't felt that way to me. In fact, I often feel like businesses are trending in the opposite direction when it comes to providing service to their customers; little to no focus on the Customer experience.

Is it too much to ask of an organization these days to make me feel like my needs matters to them?

For those that still value the experience of a sincere, quality, face-to-face interaction when it comes purchasing certain goods, this place was a gem.

I have no hesitation recommending Magoos to my closest friends and family.

I look forward to returning. They've earned my continued patronage.

I will never buy my pet supplies anywhere else. Super nice people wide variety and great prices. Check your value pack blue envelope for great coupons. Last two months they offered 5.00 off. They are now my go to for my furry friends!

Absolutely best service. A young lady in the back was busy with water the animals. I asked her for help and she delivered beyond expectations. I will be back for sure she checked me out as well. Very informative here they are pet lovers great first experience

I love Magoos, so happy it's close to home. They have a good selection for all of our pets needs (birds, small rodent, fish, toad, lizard). I buy crickets all the time, they are healthy and live through feeding. We love looking at the lizards. Everyone is so friendly and happy to assist. Reasonable prices. Sure to return.

This store is huge. Large selection of dog items. They have stuff for other pets, but I was only interested in things for dogs. Staff was very helpful and patient.

I seriously love this place. I was even going to work there had i not gotten seriously ill. They have every thing you will need for cats and dogs. Plus a decent rodent and bird selection. They even sell tortoises rats mice birds guinea pigs nd some lizards. The people are nice and knowledgeable. Cats and dogs are welcome aas well.
