Food Lion

I pretty much only shop at Food Lion. It’s somewhat lower priced then everywhere else. Certain things are higher then others but with the savings card it evens out! I literally save at least $40 or more a trip. And the people are super friendly and nice. My one issue with them is their machines seem to always have problems. The self checkout machines have major issues to be fixed. Once, all the machines would not accept cards (after I had rung up a lot of stuff)! Then, another time I scanned a coupon and it would not register that I inserted the coupon. I strictly stick to going to an employee now to check out. It might be a tad slower then a working self checkout machine but hey at least I can talk to the cashier! They love when I bring my son in, he will talk their ears off about EVERYTHING! I love it! I give them 5 stars because before the machine issues they were great and if you don’t use them, NO ISSUES!

Foodlion is a special company. Home every night. Have off every other weekend. And one day off during the week. Just thinking about your family. Home time .... thanks 😊

Shopping for groceries here for 15 years, never been a problem, except the new DIY cashiers, why? Just why?

I have not been inside of this food lion in over a year or so and it has changed. Everything is in place, it's clean and it looks like a place you want to shop for your groceries. There were items in stock and staff who spoke to me as I was walking around, asked if I needed help with anything. It was nice to see Ms. Jessie is still there. I love her! She's helpful and real. I love the new (well new to me) food lion

Food Lion has always been one of my favorite stores.

Well labeled aisles, found what I needed quickly and right through self checkout.

Great knowledgeable employees. Needed help in the deli and the deli manager Pearly was outstanding and help me with all the money needs and I was walking down and I'll trying to find something and one of the stalkers Michael went above and beyond helping me finding what I needed both of those employees deserve recognition. I used to work for a food Lion and rarely ever did they tell their employees about these comments and how good of a job they did hopefully the person reading this will let them know they're doing an outstanding job keep up the good work.

I can't say enough wonderful things about all of the employees at Edgewood Food Lion. They truly are an extremely friendly and hard working team. From Miss Jessie to Kisha, I simply adore them. I have witnessed Germaine go above and beyond to assist an elderly lady. It truly touched my heart to just watch him interact with her when he thought nobody was looking. He treated her gently with kindness, as if it was his own Grandma. I will always be a loyal customer of Food Lion. For me, it's the people that make this place so great 👍

This food lion is super clean but has a foul smell as soon as you walk through the door. They have a good variety of options.

Nice and clean, once you get used to where everything is, it's a breeze to shop! Make sure you have your Food Lion card to get all your savings! They also have instant coupon machine best the front doors! Which these days is very helpful! Prices are basically the same as most, but can find deals too!
I recommend this store to anyone!

My local food market and I love it. Great prices and always a clean store. I just wish they use men to bring the shopping carts inside instead of women. Using women is what made me give them 4 stars. I really hope management changes that. The market has been remodeled/upgraded since I been there so with that I give it 5 stars. As far as the cart situation Im not sure if that has changed yet. I didn't see anyone moving carts on my last trip.

I love this market. The Associates are very professional, helpful and easy to talk to. Market is always clean.

I don't visit this grocery store frequently, but it's fantastic for a really quick trip for one or two items as Mars no longer exists and it's the closest grocery store to Harford Square at this time.
Every time I have gone in, it was very clean and organized. I've never had an issue finding anything. Staff has been very helpful, kind, patient, and quick at the register.

Definitely enjoy going to Food Lion. Great quality of food at great prices.

Always a warm welcome from the female security guard as well as the male.
There was one young cashier red hair , there tonight she has like an accent she was a white girl . She was just too pleasant for her own good I really enjoyed her. she made me feel good about spending my money in the store.
Seem like she really enjoyed her job or the people. This is what this community needs.
Now you do have some cashier's there that need to be sprinkled with some joy juice.
One of the ladies there surely is her name very nice.

Great. I love shopping here. I can get all of groceries here. Including if I need to sent money to family members out of state or if I need money orders. It's the one stop for everything. The customer service is excellent. They are always friendly and courteous every time I stop in to do my shopping.

The good place to make a quick stop to find a few things. They do have a good selection of items. Not as much as the big stores but enough to fill your grocery list. Store is clean. Cashiers are polite. Managers seem to be concerned of any questions that you may have.

I haven't been to this store in over 3 to 4 years and I can't believe how different it looks and clean, I was shopping for WIC, I couldn't believe how easy it was to find everything, and how you can see the varieties of goods because of its label system that show a product is WIC acceptable, yes love it I will be getting my WIC products from there for now on.
