Hobby Pro Inc. - Miami Hobby Shop

Very good hobby shop. Prices are reasonable and the staff is always helpful and knowledgeable. They tell you what you need and not try to sell you any unnecessary items and sometimes even talk you out of something if it’s not going to help. I’ve bought quite a few parts for my slash here and did the power up program through here. Very honest and kind employees and will definitely be returning. Only small gripe is sometimes it’s hard to get a hold of them on the phone but if you go to the store you will get all the help you need.

Called earlier today to see if they had what I needed since I don’t live in that area. Spoke to what I’m assuming was the owner. Very nice on the phone and had what I needed. Made the trip and in person he was just as nice and very helpful, as was who I’m assuming was his wife. Would highly recommend to new hobbyist up to advanced. Can’t beat (or find) customer service like that nowadays. Support your local hobby shop!!!

This place is classic, old school Hobby shop. I mean hang out, talk to the owner and the family. Super knowledgeable and comfortable. This place is opposite to the arrogant, snobby shops that are out there that simply make you wanna run out. I mean, the owner was part of Orange Blossom hobbies 🤠. That’s how great this place is. Best in town.

I’m just recently getting back into this hobby and have had some bad experiences with Crown Hobbies and other hobby shops since my reboot. I broke a simple piece on my 1/18 and no one was willing to give me the time of day and all I got was rude remarks and bad customer service. I called everywhere desperately.

On my last attempt I came across hobby pro, little far for me but I said what more do I have to lose. So I called, Shannon answered and was so helpful I was amazed. They not only had the part and sold it to me but I ended up buying more than what I originally anticipated. I am at this shop at least once a week now and they treat me as if I’m their best customer which is in my opinion 100% top notch customer service.

Am I going back to this you ask??!!! Better freaking believe it

There is no need to go to any other hobby shop. They are amazing! Was there the first day to fix what I thought might be a problem (my first build) for only to have them do a quick troubleshoot and explain what the problem was while also fixing a second issue I had. The remedy for my first problem needed to be done the next day. On that first trip I came out with one less issue. They refused to charge me for the visit telling me that it was nothing and it really didn’t take much time. They literally refuses to take my money. I did have to return the next day. On that visit I was explained what it the problem was, how to remedy it, they fixed it, and gave me a lot of advice on the rest of the build. I was thinking I was going to need extra parts and upgrades as I had thought from watching tons of YouTube videos. I was told that really wasn’t necessary and even some of the upgrades would be a bad idea and why. A chance to upsell a newbie that was willing to spend the money but they were honest enough to explain why it wasn’t needed. After a couple of parts and some labor my problem was fixed. Very good work, very honest, not expensive at all and amazing customer service from the owner that has many, many years experience in r/c builds of different types. Worth the extra drive time and money. Please check them out. Local, family owned and operated.

If you are into RC this is the shop to go to don’t order online support local. The owner Mike and his wife are so nice genuine people that love RC and take the time to get to know their customers that’s rare these days. My daughter and I review rc cars on YouTube and this will be our go to shop for all our RC needs they have a lifetime customer!!!

Where to begin..... Well, my birthday was earlier in the month and I decided to buy myself the fastest 1/18 car on Amazon. I had to return it because I wanted more. After speaking to local hobby shops, I knew immediately that Mike was the probably the most honest guy out of the everyone that I had spoken to. He was knowledgeable and patient despite my hesitancy to spend a little more than my initial budget. Never once did he pressure me. Now I'm purchasing a second car with plans on many more.

Shop nowhere else. Mike and his lovely wife Shannon take excellent care of their customers. Mike spent 1/2 hour fixing up my remote control boat that I bought elsewhere. They are friendly and courteous. DON'T BUY ON AMAZON. Get that very important service at Hobby Pro. You will NOT be disappointed. I wasn't

I moved to Sebring, but I come to visit my parents in town. Every time I do, I make it a point of going here to get my parts for my RC planes. I build from scratch and they have almost all that I need. I go because they know my name and like every hobby shop it is great to share stories with them.

Amazing place they have a great selection and help you out in every possible way. I was out of the r/c world for years and came back. They helped me choose the best model based on the specs I was looking for. I live 1hr away and never hesitate in going also they can fix/mod your rig too if desired!

First time I went to Hobby Pro I did not really know what I wanted and I had a lot of questions. Even though the owner and his son were busy with other customers they were able to answer all my questions and go out of their way to show me different types of RC cars. After some weeks of research on what I want and finally deciding, I will be buying everything from them. Could I easily order most of this online? Sure. Will I be getting the same experience and supporting a physical family owned store, Nope. We are seeing more and more stores and business either shut down or go online only, I don’t want that and neither should you. Visit this store if you are interested in Hobby grade vehicles and such, you won’t be disappointed.

Great place. Everyone was so helpful with getting my cheap but upgraded mini car up and going. They fix and sell all kinds of stuff. They are very knowledgeable and I appreciate the help today

I made a bonehead move and I needed a proshop to help move 4 screws I stripped. They removed them for me and was so nice and kind I'm so happy they are there and I hope they stay at least until I'm dead. It's hard to find a good hobby shop and I will be going back probably to purchase a new truck

Mike is awesome very knowledgeable and always willing to explain everything. Makes u feel like there is never a dumb question. I am a amateur RC enthusiast and I always leave with something because everything is fairly priced and I will keep bringing anyone I can there due to the fact that it is always great to have someone local that u can take ur car, truck , boat too and have it diagnosed by a true professional. I am taking my Jato soon to upgrade gears and tires to be able to run it in the grass

Small shop with a big inventory. They can order parts for you at a great price, and the team is very helpful in answering questions or concerns. If you love Traxxas, you will feel right at home! It's my go to shop for everything RC!! Check it out!!

Brought in a car I didn’t get from them today as I was having trouble starting it. The owner played with a couple of settings and explained everything to me. He got it running! As a newbie this was very much appreciated.
