AJ Butcher Block

We love AJ butcher block. Meat is always fresh and lean,very tender. We have yet to get a bad cut of meat from AJ's. Nice clerks and clean store. Sandwiches are great too!

Wow! We had never been here but were staying near Tuskahoma for a visit and decided to call ahead for some steaks and a roast. Wowza! Beautiful meats and AJ's cuts to order. Best steaks we've had in quite some time. Can't wait to eat the roast tomorrow

Produce looked like it was harvested yesterday. Friendly. Helpful, and ribs were great...

Awesome Home town Grocery store with actual local Butcher to cut that perfect cut of meat for you. Great prices and very friendly staff that are very helpful. Use them a few times a week.

We really enjoyed our chance to visit this deli/butcher. The meat display is really lovely and very appetizing. They are very different in the sense that they have just incredible types of me a wide variety of species and they are very ethical and clean. Definitely not your average butcher. Prices are good and you can get it all kinds of information from the folks behind the counter. They also have several aisles of routine Pantry food as well as refrigerated foods. There are also some rocking chairs out front which are nice to sit and chat in while you eat a sandwich. The parking lot and the store are all on one level so handicap can get in and out easily and it's all been very recently laid concrete so rolling across it is also easy for the handicap in a wheelchair. Isles are wide and easy to navigate. I will most definitely be back.

I love this store!!!! The meat is always fabulous. It doesn't shrink like a lot of places. Plus they have a little bit of everything youd look for in a grocery store. Great service!!!! Everyone that works there is always smiling, helpful and so welcoming. You walk in and instantly feel like you've known the employees your whole life. This is a home town feeling place. As a transplant to the area, I love feeling at home. Go in and see them!!!!!!

Awesome place. They have everything packed into this little store. The meat counter reminds me of going to the neighborhood market with my grandmother as a child.

This store is fantastic. The meats are always top choice and so reasonable. They offer a good selection of fresh fruit/ veggies. The owners and staff are the friendliest, down home people.

Very clean store. Our town of Talihina Ok really had a need for this store. Now I don't have to drive 25 miles or more to get fresh meats, or vegetables. If I want a salad they have all the produce to make one. Prices are good people are friendly.

Great little store that has everything one could need. Their meat market is just like the ones from back in the day. I’ve never purchased any meat there that I wasn’t 100% satisfied with. They are definitely a “cut above” the rest of the competitors!

Great meat great prices variety that you cannot find anywhere else in tallahaina and some of it you can't even find across the mountain. A great Christian family and I truly believe they would feed you if you were broke and get the shirt off their back. Tallahaines should take time and do a big ride up and thank them for coming coming to this community

excellent staff very knowledgeable and friendly. basic selections but reasonably priced. store was very clean and shelves were full. great little market. will be back. also bathrooms were very clean.

Owners are great and the employees are always very friendly. If they don't have what you're looking for ask, they may be able to get it for you.

We go to childrens camp down in Talihina and they are so helpful to get us fresh fruits and veggies and the meat is sooo delicious. Can’t wait to go down in a couple of weeks
