Excellent service and good prices at this old-fashioned hardware store. You get much more personalized attention than you would at a big-box hardware store. Plus, it has a really neat, retro feel to it.

My husband's favorite store and actually 1 of mine also. You can walk in the store and ask anyone about any product or recommendation and they'll take you straight there and explain it to you and it's very nicely laid out and reasonable.. They also have incredible chocolate candies when it's not summer.

This is such a special place and one of my favorite stores, period. They have everything you need and the wonderful owners and staff are always willing to help! I especially love the gift section at the front of the store—such sweet, unique items and seasonal specialties.

Love, love! We try to avoid the big box stores to come here. They always have everything we are looking for. From Weber grills to nail clippers and “old time” root beer. Stop in, you will not be disappointed 🤍

Great place to Deal with. I bought a new Weber grill here and the person that helped me was very knowledgeable about the grills and was very helpful. Delivery and setup was very timely. The employees in this store are always helpful and pleasant. You never get this from big box stores anymore. Please support your local stores.

Staff is always very friendly. Every time I ask where something is, they are always ready to help. Surprise at the selection they have the store. When I’m working in town as a contractor, I will always go there before a chain store. They definitely have the hometown personal touch. Thank you guys for being great people.

I was absolutely floored by the old-time ambiance and a step into the past into this charming hardware (and much more) store. Just the building itself took me a bit into yesteryear, especially with the train chugging by the nearby tracks. I could also just see the hitching posts with all the horses lined up on the side of the store.

There was such a nice mix of hardware and houseware items and I loved all the unusual seasonal decorations.

We also so very much appreciated the very personal touch from the owner, Pete Bender, in helping us select the Weber grill model that fit our needs perfectly. Being that it is a family business, his son set up our grill and delivered it to us for free - even placing all the batteries in the electronic portion of the grill.

These personal touches are so very rare these days and we truly appreciated all the time the staff spent with us to ensure that our experience was lovely... and it was!
