Big Fish Ministries Thrift Shop

Just want to say Big Fish was very friendly and easy to schedule with for large pick up. The two guys who came to the pick up, one of them named Chris was so very nice and polite! I wanted to give a shout out to what everyone on your team. Also say it’s awesome what you do!!

Prices are great. Especially if there is something on sale which makes it down right a steal. Lots of clothes, furniture, kitchen items, home decor, throw pillows, blankets, craft stuff, they had some lawn equipment, books, jewelery, just about everything. Lots of stuff to peruse. Worth checking out.

Wonderful place to share and give of your belongings you no longer need. We should always help others.

Fantastic store! I found so many amazing deals from clothing, books, to Disney stuff. This was an amazing trip. I always heard staff asking if everyone was finding everything okay and are incredibly efficient.

This place is very clean and organized. Staff are so amazing and sweet. They take there time to help you and talk to you. 10 out of 10 one of my favorite thrift stores ever I love coming here. THANK YOU TO EVERYONE THAT WAS WORKING TODAY.

I love supporting Christian based thrift stores! The group of men working around 4:15PM on 6/15/22 were so nice and pleasant!
I was able to get my son 3 shirts and a full sized Step2 branded Chalk board/dry erase board easel for our homeschooling, all for $5!!

Went to drop of some items from doing a big clean out. Didn’t realize I showed up over 30 mins late. The guys still were all smiles, unloaded my stuff and made small talk. They didn’t even tell me I was late, I only knew because I read the sign when I pulled up. Just can’t brag enough on how these guys were so nice. Made my day.

When I randomly walked into your store I immediately felt the power of positive & active recovery happening. I asked the first gentleman I came upon, "Are you all in recovery?" He looked at me puzzled. I said, "It takes one to know one!" 25 yrs clean & I have never walked into a place where I could feel it's presence like this store. Every man had that shining eye's of recovery on. It is a spirit filled place for sure. Besides being super clean and organized. And lots of fun stuff for sale. I will forever only donate to this place from now on! I think I scared them a bit telling them I could feel their spirits the minute I walked in. I would love to volunteer or assist! in any way I can. And I did read your mission already. Whatever your doing, keep doing it! Cause it's working!

such a funny and welcoming staff, these reviews almost scared me off, but im so glad i went! they had an amazing selection and everything was so cute! had a ton of tshirts from local places in alabama and flordia. such a good thrift store, i would totally recommend!!

Best second hand store around

I was looking for a different thrift store when I ended up at Big Fish. Now I'm in there once (sometimes twice!) a week! I love this store, and the staff all remember me everytime I walk in. They are doing so much good for the community, and I cannot wait to go check out the new store location later today! If you haven't been in, or haven't been in awhile... you really don't know what you're missing!

I have always found this thrift store both the Foley and gulf shores to be very reasonable, with a friendly and helpful staff. There is always a HUGE selection and the prices are not like the other "boutique" ...so called thrift stores in the area, ahem SA? The ministry of addiction recovery and rehabilitation is much needed in this LOCAL area with LOCAL money and donations supporting our LOCAL friends and neighbors. Your dollar goes to help others, not to fatten up someone else's pocket! The employees, are in recovery... learning to cope in real world work and behave with expectations. Bravo Big Fish, thank you for blazing the trail!

Clean and well organized with some nice bargains!

Great place to shop!! Cheerful atmosphere to hang out, while listening to good Christian music, even as being a "Volunteer" !! I'M " blessed" to be a part of, seeing lives changing for our melenialls and homeless ones. Come by and let us pray for you with you !!!

I have to tell you that Big Fish Ministries and Big Fish moving has really came through for me and my husband. We sold our place and need to be out by Monday. I called and Wil in no time set up for his workers to come and pick up some furniture for us. This is such a challenging time for us moving with all that is going on in the world but God sent us Big Fish Ministries and I am feeling very blessed.

Excellent selection/ Great prices/ On TOP of my list as far as home furnishing and decor in all of South Baldwin County. Been a resident here for over 30 years so love this store!!! Goodhearted employees and always a pleasant experience! Thank you Big Fish Ministries! !!!

Amazing gem of the city for thrifting!!

Probably the cheapest thrift store in the area. Prices are fair and the inventory is constantly changing. I prefer these guys to the Salvation Army and Waterfront. Salvation Army always has a poor selection and the place is constantly filthy. Waterfront has gotten really stupid with their prices many times pricing used items at or just below what it would cost to but the item new. Big Fish has done a great job keeping the prices low and directed at barging shoppers.
