Smart & Final Extra!

🌟 BETTER THAN MOST LOCAL GROCERY STORES IN MANY WAYS 🌟

✔ INSIDE - Clean & bright with adequate aisle space. There's usually carts and baskets readily available. Shelves are stocked better then the local Walmart & there is better selection than Walmart, Sam's Club & some other local grocery stores. The COLD sections are COLD which is great. I am vert tired of COOL products that should be COLD, there's a difference!!!

✔ PRICES - They are only a few cents more then Walmart, but the variety of product flavors & selection is better. For example, Walmart and the local Albertsons 12 flavors of Chunky soup, but this Smart & Final has about 24. The lack of selection at Walmart is a major reason I even started shopping at this Smart & Final.

✔ CHECKOUT - This is the only problem I can see with this store; however, it is actually not as bad as people make it out to be. I have had far worse experiences at Walmart, Sam's Club & even Costco than here. They don't have EVERY register operating during PEAK times, but what store nowadays does have that? As for SELF CHECKOUT options, ALL stores that have self checkout STILL use an employee to monitor the machines. I would rather they just be ringing people up, because grocery has product weights, ID issues for alcohol & coupon problems. You can't expect SELF CHECKOUT at every location in the brick & mortar world...YET!

✔ OUTSIDE - Far less if any beggars, solicitors, smokers & bitter employees outside then their competitors. Parking lot is not there responsibility as far as trash goes, but the lot is clean with many places to park. The only down side to this lot is the BAR in the corner of the plaza that sometimes has drunks hanging outside or acting foolish in their vehicles (driving too fast, parking too close & loitering nearby.) This is mostly only an issue at night.

:: OVERALL :: I am happy to shop here & I find that anytime after 7pm is a quick, easy experience. The store & staff are friendly and always working, I do not know about the fresh department as much, but it appears clean and well stocked. Give them a try if you're tired of big box stores and a lack of variety!

Great place to getting everything you need from good quality grocery, dairy, dry foods and frozen products. They sell medicine and tissues too. I Just picked up a bowl set here. Priced well and sold in bulk. Great place for grocery shopping...

Clean, well layed out with full shelves in every aisle seems to be an ongoing routine of this locations way of doing business. Keep up the excellent work, it's positively noticeable and very good to have such a well kept market so close to home!

The assistance manager, Robert is so helpful and kind. We had a huge purchase of over 200 gift cards and supplies. He assisted us through the entire transaction and gave great customer service.

They always have what I’m looking for and more!

You can't go wrong with smart and final. It's not crazy crowded Costco or Sam's yet you can get what you need without a membership fee.

Robert the asst manager is extremely helpful and gracious. We were planning our block party Christmas event for the homeless and needed everything in the hundreds and thousands and he helped us and was extremely patient with us running around trying to collect everything. Thank you Robert and smart&final!

This store has many more advantages over a typical grocery store.

2. Not as crowded
3. Pleasant employees
4. Clean store
5. Produce is fresh

Smart N Final is GREAT...I LOVE THAT STORE! And the Associates that work there are MOST ALWAYS cheerful and helpful. My only issue with all the stores is they don't open check stands fast enough at the busier times of the day, but they're getting better.

Shop here all the time! The meat in the vacuum packages are delicious and is a great value at the price. Much less expensive all the time than the meat that is on sale at other supermarkets. Their First Street brand name items are good quality, also, especially the shredded cheeses!

Very helpful employees. Ready to see what you need or are locking for. Produce could be fresher some days, but no place is perfect. They help no matter what the question or want is. Store is very clean. Enjoy your time there.

My favorite place to get produce! Super clean and well stocked.

They are doing a great job following guidelines and keeping everyone safe! I was checking out and my cashier saw a man walk in without a mask. She said some code over the loud speaker, then I saw her manager grab a Brand New mask ( $1.99), walk over to the gentleman and asked him kindly if he can use the mask while he was shopping. They give free masks to anyone who is shopping and doesn't have one. They also have disinfecting stations for you to use for your cart. On top of that, all the workers are always polite and friendly. Yevon was my cashier and I enjoyed the little conversation we had while I was paying.

Had never been in this Smart and Final. Very clean, organized, and all store associates were friendly and helpful. Quick check-outs too. Am definitely coming back to this store!
