The Candy Jar by 1892 Collingswood

This is my favorite candy store by far in the whole state of NJ!!! They have all the old vintage candies from when I was a kid and they have a huge selection of homemade candies and dark chocolate which is my favorite, fudge and pretzels! I drive from an hour away to go to this store and will continue to shop here and make that drive because of how delicious their candies are!

Today was my first visit and I will be going back friendly staff and delicious candy !

The Candy Jar has the best tasting dark chocolate I have ever had. I have bought various dark chocolates from the Candy Jar and then compared them side by side with other candy/chocolate shops, and the Candy Jar's chocolate makes the chocolate from other stores/brands taste weak. The Candy Jar makes chocolate that is potent and rich. Best dark chocolate candies in New Jersey. They also have an assortment of other delicious items, a high quality establishment for sure. I hope they are around for years to come.

This place is just great, I love it very much and they have some of my favorite candy, that I can't find anywhere else. They make many of their candy, and it tastes delicious! Plus, they have Smarties candy in smaller, cheaper, easier to find bags, and my daughter loves them. Candy Jar also have sour spaghetti that doesn't taste like it's by Haribo. I highly recommend to go to this amazing place for an opportunity to have the best candy. The workers are very polite and happy. The candies are very good at The Candy Jar!

I went to the Candy Jar because my godson is getting braces! I bought him all of the candy he will not be able to eat with his braces!!! The woman who was working was super helpful with helping me pick out stuff. Even though they are a pretty small storefront they have a nice selection of candy. They also offer a free sample from the chocolate case they have!!!

Absolutely my favorite candy store out there. My favorites are the chocolate covered bacon and oreos! They are famous for their loaded chocolate pretzels smothered in toppings of many kinds. There is also a nice selection of old fashioned candies and souvenirs on the other side. Strongly recommend to anyone that likes chocolate!

When you walk in you just smell chocolate 🥰 the woman who helped me was wonderful. She asked what are my favorite flavors and gave me so many wonderful options to choose from and great candies that pair well with each other. Definitely stop in an grab yourself something sweet an delicious because the candy is amazing 🤩

Super friendly staff, great variety. My faves are the coffee filled chocolates. The chocolate pretzels are also so good. They basically have almost any type of candy you can imagine. I stop by for dessert after eating nearby for lunch.

Super cute candy store with beautiful Valentines Day chocolates. Even had to get myself a big mint in their case of chocolates by the lb!!

Perfect place to buy candy for siblings, cousins, friends, partners, etc. Great selection of candy, most of the prices are fair but you have to understand they have to make a profit.

There's a large variety of different candy here for a really good price. The owner is very friendly and the atmosphere is pleasant.

This store is a gem tucked away on Haddon Ave. My favorite is the pistachio bark.

You need to take a sample of some candy if it's offered. That's the rule when shopping for candy here. You will love this place if you really like candy.
