My wife and I are absolutely in love with this little place. What a beautiful, quaint, cozy little country store! The charming little hotel rooms adjacent to the store are the icing on the cake.

We recently learned that the owners of the business have put it up for sale. If we thought that we could raise the finances, we would seriously consider purchasing it. Charming mom-'n-pop type stores like these are becoming lost to history... what a shame.

Pickens, formerly called Pickens Courthouse, is a city in and the county seat of Pickens County, South Carolina, United States. The population was 3,126 at the 2010 census. Pickens changed its classification from a town to a city in 1998, but it was not reported to the Census Bureau until 2001. It was named after Andrew Pickens, an American revolutionary soldier and US Congressman for South Carolina. Pickens is part of the Greenville–Mauldin–Easley Metropolitan Statistical Area. source
