Dollar General

This store is the best! Its always clean organized and everything is shelved very nicely. I always find what I need here & dont have to run around trying to find stuff like at some other stores. And the staff is great! Especially the 2 short girls with the different colors in their hair! The sales prices are always up so you can see the weekly sales too!

Alexus was so kind and extremely helpful tonight when we were shopping. I truly appreciate her upbeat, positive attitude.

Was there yesterday and there was a very rude customer behind me making me uncomfortable, complaining that I was taking too long. And i just want to say the employees (unfortunately I didnt catch their names) handled themselves very well, especially the young lady that made sure i knew I had done nothing wrong. I felt my anxitey rising and I appreciate how things were handled. I just hope that customer didnt give them too much of a hard time after i left. She was mad at them for apologizing to me, but i appreciated it.

I had just come to this Dollar General because I live right around the corner from it and things are a little cheaper than your average grocery store. And because of Covid I’ve been struggling tremendously with keeping food on the table and paying bills I have a two-year-old who is growing and loves to eat and and I needed some essentials to get by so I went to Dollar General today and my total came out to $111.17 I go to check out and I use $46 on my food stamp card because it’s all I have left I had $21 in cash and a $25 gift card I had just gotten for my birthday and as we were going through call check out there is a person behind me he was getting very agitated Because I was taking longer than expected. I want to swipe my debit card and it declined and my heart sunk and my immediate reaction was to be embarrassed I tried it twice more but it still declined the person behind me put his things back and left and I tried my credit card and it declined so I reached in to my cart to take out a couple things and put them back that was worth $21 but the cashier took out her card and swiped it for me. That $20 was worth so much to me. I didn’t know what to say or do as she did it because I was in complete shock because nobody has ever done something like that for me before! I got into my car and broke down into tears, I have been struggling so much because of Covid and this lady that I didn’t even know, Swipe your card in place of mine to pay for the rest of my food. This without a doubt is absolutely the best Dollar General I’ve ever been to and they have the sweetest employees. When I managed to get my next unemployment check I will take out the $20 and bring it back to the lady but it’s so refreshing to know that we still have kind people in this world, Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Great place to get, well almost anything. They have something from almost every department in a bigger store. Prices are pretty good, you get what you pay for. Just keep that in mind.

I mostly go to this Dollar General because its five minutes away and they have DG brand lubricant/penetrating oil, brake cleaner, and other automotive supplies cheaper than other brands and stores so im always working on something so I stock up. Staff is always polite and open till 10pm

I come here a lot as does my husband, it's within walking distance of my house. I have nothing but great things to say about all the staff members!! Every experience has been great!
