This is by far the best place to eat in the dmv area. I have been there three times and I was never dissatisfied. The food is beyond amazing! I would highly recommend anyone who is looking for fresh food to eat. Friendly staff and great customer service. They deserve recognition!

The place is very clean and tidy, the food is refreshing and the price is very reasonable and tasty. I have never seen such a clean kitchen in DC. They serve Ethiopian and American food. The young hostess who hosted me was very talented, respectful, quick, friendly, and I was very surprised to see her hosting so many people by herself for about 1 hour. Finally, I want to thank the owner of this restaurant and shop, if they continue this will be the number one restaurant in the DMV.

Sonnie's Carryout is for real. onion rings were superb. Kitfo was brilliant with excellent injera; a large serving...what a lovely neighborhood kitchen.
