The Dollar general tried to have me arrested on March 16th 2024. I woke up to a call from my neighbor asking me why I was on the dollar general page with a caption stating that they were looking for me.I had no clue at the time I wasn't aware of any issues, so my first thought was that someone was trying to cause me physical harm, or stalk me. I later went on to research the post and sure enough there is an unauthorized photo posted of me with my government name. I called corporate asking what is going on and they assured me that they do not own any other pages besides their official one however they are a corporate company, and that they would do an internal investigation. They gave me their email to send proof of this post and details. So I emailed them.. later I go on to call a lawyer because, an employee of the dollar general is running an unofficial page under their company, stole my pictures, and information, stalked me and posted it. It is not okay to post my protected information on a company affiliated page. An hour goes by and the police are at my door stating that $500 was accidentally (by the company) refunded to my bank account. I was completely unaware of it, but I was being labeled a theif. They told me that I could make good by paying it which is fine. Mind you all of my neighbors are out wondering why the police are at my house. I'm then escorted by the police to the dollar general. The manager (I'll leave unnamed for now) proceeds to try to talk to me in front of a full store of customers with the officer by my side. I asked if we could take this to the back office as it is UNPROFESSIONAL to take matters in account in public. She proceeds to ring out a few customers and the officer asks to see my bank statements. I let the officer go through my PERSONAL account information on spot. I'm then escorted to the back room and told that I need to pay $500 back, I oblige thats fine I had no idea what was going on and the manager stated that she tried contacting me on Facebook (a company took a business matter and tried contacting me on Facebook through the managers personal Facebook not even the unauthorized page ) They didn't attempt to contact the bank and reverse the transaction for their mistake, they didn't contact corporate to investigate they went completely out of the business protocol. Also You can't send messages on Facebook unless you're friends with that person or they won't receive it. I never saw it. I'm told that I'm banned from all stores because of an incident that I was unaware of. The manager of the Josephine Pennsylvania Dollar General tells me that I was trying to scam them, I said really for pocket change of $500 when I'm constantly at the store giving them business, okay you can take this up with a lawyer because I'm not arguing with you. The manager then asks for the money. I go to pay with my card and she told me CASH ONLY. I then asked if it could be taken out as a purchase she says no. I had to drive 15 minutes to go find an ATM be charged an ATM fee and drive 15 minutes back to this store as the cop is waiting on me for proof of payment. The manager then says "Now we're squared away"( NO WE ARE NOT!) I asked for a receipt. She went on to write me a hand written recipt in disgust and asks if I want the stores information on it. I politely say yes. She hands it over and it's done thank you. I also asked the female officer for her name and badge number for information pertaining to the now hopefully lawsuit that I will be bringing against the dollar general for duress, slander, defamation of character , stalking and unauthorized use of personal information. None of this would have occurred if it were not due to the managers personal errors on behalf of the company.

Visiting from out of town and decided to run to DG in Josephine for items. An emergency occurred which required the use of a restroom. Unfortunately, there were no signs what so ever indicating that the public restrooms were out of order. The employee informed me that there was a plumbing issue but they had restrooms for staff only. If I’m remembering correctly, they were “out of order” last summer when I visited as well. Very unfortunate.

This store was on the news for a retail theft of a $8 teddy bear. Called PSP to investigate an $8 bear. Really.. smh lol..
