SweetSpot

Went to the SweetSpot tent at the Polo Match yesterday! They had every candy imaginable from novelty pieces to current new favorites. They also had ice cream, Italian ice, pretzels, nachos & funnel cakes. I’ve been to the shop plenty of times as well and they have even more sweet treats there. Definitely stop by and support this great local business!!

I have come to this candy shop for the last 10 years. That should speak for itself. If it doesn't, I'll say more:

I absolutely love chocolate malts. Any place I go that has them, I always order one. SweetSpot makes the most INCREDIBLE malt I have ever had anywhere, and not once in 10 years has it been less than amazing! I took a friend a few months ago, telling them that the malts are the best and she was skeptical. Had one sip and said it was "50/10."

However, if you aren't into malts, there are many other things to love. They have the widest variety of candies I have ever seen at one shop, plus some types of candy that I haven't seen anywhere else in 15 years, not to mention soda in actual glass bottles! Good luck finding those in your local grocery store! It seems impossible to find a real *candy* store anymore, as opposed to a store with a candy section.

If you're in the area, SweetSpot is a must-visit. I'm moving several hours away tomorrow, but you can be sure that any time I come back to visit, I'll be stopping here for a malt!

If you are looking for that old feel Ice Cream shop with the old wood floors, candy, outside sitting area, and a funnel cake sundae! Can't go wrong with the homemade Ice-cream at this place! The Sweet Spot! Check'em out!

So I went in to pick up some various types of gum for my 8 year old niece for part of her birthday present (it’s her latest candy obsession). First of all they have an AMAZING selection. I was blown away! So many nostalgic candies and sweets! Secondly, SweetSpot was able to take my selection of bubble gum candies and turn it into a BEAUTIFUL candy bouquet for a small charge. WORTH EVERY PENNY!!! I can’t wait to see my niece’s face when she receives this! 100% recommend! They went above and beyond what I could dream of!

We love this place. I take my kids here when we drop off my client. The owner is awesome. Super friendly. Are you looking for old style candy? This is the place. They got candy from the 70’s and 80’s. I felt like a kid again. Their ice cream is great. Check it out. You won’t be disappointed.

YOU have to GO!! Other than Ice Cream, which may be awesome, I was they candy from long..long..ago.
I spent over $30.00 for HUGE amount of candy from 1960....YUM.. and yes owner had JARs to use...
It's really easy to find it's small but it's the white building and it is awesome go there, owner will be extremely friendly...but stop and ENJOY your shopping, and friendship I'm going back for each Holiday, Hollowe and Christmas.....

It gave me a nostalgic feeling like I was visiting my grandma's house when she lived in a small town. This would have been the ice cream shop that I would have loved to visit. Lots of fun treats and toys to occupy some little kids and a full dairy ice cream menu.

I’m absolutely in love with the wide variety of candy offered here. I felt like a kid again. Also, they are one of the few places I could find that sells Superman icecream!

Experienced my first time at Sweetspot today and enjoyed the old school candy shop feeling. Dorlene who made us feel very welcomed recommended us to try their famous homemade gummy bears and they are so naturally tasteful and full of flavor . Lovin them! It was my first and definitely not my last visit . Thanks sweet spot!

I ordered a gift basket. They custom made it the same day and matched the tastes of the recipient exactly. The basket was put together incredibly well.

Great ice cream! Many kinds of candy, including ones you often can't find. I was happy to find full-size Slo Pokes!

Best Root Beer float I've ever had. Service was terrific. Definitely will be back for more.

Great environment that makes me want to be a kid again, kind employees, great ice cream, candy etc. all makes for a great ice cream parlor to take your friends or family too!

Cute place! Great selrction of unique candy and stuff! Ample parking too. Worth stopping in for ice cream!

They have great icecream, made locally, with fresh ingredients. I buy tubs of it to keep in my freezer.
