The employees here are great! During this pandemic and supplies running low they have been extremely helpful. So thankful for senior hours & the respect and patience of the cashiers. This is a very clean store and well organized also. Thank you for being there & for your kindness!

Nice people working in this store. They get busy. There’s limited options in Amado so it’s nice to have as an option. They do pretty good at keeping the shelves stocked. Their customer service really is good. As it once was and should be still everywhere.

I have been in some Dollar General stores that I did not even want to purchase anything. Did not find them clean or organized. Is one in Amado is completely different. Clean, friendly staff and yes, well stocked and organized. Thanks Sky for your great attitude and smile.

I live just around the corner and the opening of this store has been a huge blessing! It has everything you need at a affordable price and the staff are friendly too. This will definitely be my go to spot rather than driving miles north just for my everyday needs.

This store just opened and has just about everything you could want. No more 20 mins to a big town while camping. Service is friendly and helpful. There's s little bit of everything here! Some frozen and refrigerated items; no fresh produce. I was making cookies and found a rolling pin and decorations. Good selection for pet food, linens, tshirts, household soaps, kitchen items, party items, linens and more. Prices the same or better than walmart.

Perfect location for Dollar General! This store is great! It's new, clean, friendly cashiers and great prices. I found lots of products that I wasn't looking for and items that I was needing. Welcome to the neighborhood!

This place rocks! Mongoose, Heidi and "V" really try hard to help you! They don't point to an isle, they take you to the product! If it isn't in stock, they will personally order it for you right then! Exceptional performance, excellent service! Keep up the "home town" vibe!

The store is clean and convenient. The prices are excellent and they carry popular, well-known brands along with their own brands. We are very happy to have this wonderful store in our rural area!

I am so happy this store is here now they have all the basic necessities and it saves me a trip going into Green Valley the staff is really nice they provide excellent service and you can tell they enjoy their job

It's a relatively new store. It's kept clean and well stocked. Prices are what you'd expect from any Dollar General. Store employees are all friendly and efficient. I'd say this is one of the better Dollar General stores.

The first time I stumbled into my local Dollar General, in Amado, AZ, I was immediately greeted by an improbably jovial lady working the cash register.
"Hi," she said and smiled. Her kind gesture set the tone of my entire shopping experience. I was expecting some teenaged, inattentive bromide with his gaze fixed on his smartphone, to busy to acknowledge the presence of human beings. Fortunately, this was not the case.
I grabbed a yellow basket from the pile next to the charcoal display, and I whistled a cheery tune as I winded my way through the aisles. There was Latin music blasting through the Bluetooth speakers on top of the beer coolers. The floor was clean. The air was redolent of Pine-Sol. I was pleasantly surprised by the quantity and the variety of merchandise the place had to offer, especially in the food section.
Huger pangs struck me where I stood. I filled up my basket with three different types of Taki's, two cans of chili, two cans of refried beans, Habanero sauce, a pack of Double-Stuff Oreos, half a gallon of chocolate milk, and three-pack of Budweiser Micheladas.
Then I approached the register. The cashier was as affable as she was efficient. She bagged my junk with ruthless accuracy. She asked for proof of identity at the appropriate time, right when she scanned my booze.
"Did you find everything you needed?" she said, as she inputted my date of birth into the machine. I asked, on a whim, fully expecting a negative response, if they carried over-the-counter drug tests. And they did!! I purchased a box of Assured Marijuana Home Test. From that day on, I became a loyal customer. Plus, sometimes driving to the closest Walmart, all the way in Green Valley, is not advisable, not in an altered state of mind. The Dollar General is walking distance from my house, and it has everything I need... And more!

Since its opened it has made a huge difference. Staff is great, kind, friendly, helpful! The store is alwaya clean. And the products are useful and priced right.

Great store, we needed it here in town. Prices are reasonable and they have a good variety of products, so convenient.
