Absolutely EXQUISITE buckle! Cast from an original worn by Gen Hood. The casting is superb, the quality is excellent, customer service is fantastic. Be patient and you will be pleased! I have had numerous buckles from various makers over the decades of reenacting, but this is the absolute best I have ever owned.

There are no signs for Hanover Brass foundry, and is located next to a residence. Work is done in 2 separate buildings. Someone may or may not be there. If you wish to go to the location, you need to call first. The best way to place orders is by fax or email. The buckles are usually made after the order is placed. They may or may not have the item in stock. The owner told me he had over 1000 items he can cast. He does quality work and the buckles and items are cast from original buckles.

GW did a great job on recreating a brass buckle that my dad wore for 40 years. When my father passed, we wanted to give them out as keepsakes. Very pleased with him and the team.

I bought a red brass Alabama state buckle several years ago and it is the finest reproduction buckle I've seen.

You should see the rude comments I got from this told me I was the problem when he clearly doesn't give the dimensions on these overpriced repos and sent me an infants Buckle ,then didn't even offer to tell me what the proper number I should order when I told him I wanted an authentic size CSA Rectangular buckle, horrible customer service and 1star for getting here before 7 days.
