This place is awesome! The food is authentic and delicious. I enjoyed the renovated house with an open view of the kitchen where food gets cooked as you wait. The place is clean and has a selection of food and conveniences above what you would expect of a Mexican grocery. They had ALL of my favorite foods, snacks and spices.

The selection of salsas is exceptional. I tried the mild, medium and two of the hot varieties. The mild is flavorful with no heat. The medium is a jalapeno blend what the just a hint of heat. The two hot varieties both had flavor, the reddest was a slow burn while the other packed a sinus clearing punch. I need to try the others! They have a 17" burrito! That was not a typo. I will have to come try it with a matching appetite.

The owner is a walking ray of sunshine. I highly recommend the place and will be returning!!!

We love love love coming here! My kids enjoy the sweets in the bakery cabinet and I almost always get a cup of corn. The owners are amazing and the employees are super nice! I'm so glad this place opened in our little town, we will continue to swing through for snacks and cheese/meats as long as they are here.

Very clean place, good flavorful food. I had the 17” Burrito and is huge. Friendly and good service if your ever in MaBank be sure to stop by.

I have bought their fajita skirt steak 3 times. Fantastic. More thick than most, very tender and NOT over seasoned and tough like some other Mex markets. Very nice people too. They also have a hot sauce that will burn your face off. Yeeeowww !

I accidentally found this place, and I've been happy since. The food is amazing, and Kenny is the best. They always remember my order. For me one important part of my order is HOTTT. They come through!
If I had anything that would turn this into more than 5 stars it would be hand made tortillas.

Great costumer service, they told us a little about the owner and the products in the store since it was our first time there. We ordered a burrito, taco, and corn, purchased some candy and cheese and we weren't disappointed. The salsa was delicious, especially the spicy one.

Oh my goodness; they have some awesome street tacos, homemade chili con queso and homemade salsas as well as seasoned meats that you can take home and cook yourself. Everything we've had there has been excellent; oh, tamales too!

Mexican theater continues to produce good breakfast tacos. Their red roasted salsa is terrific. Some of you might not like it because it’s not very hot but I really like the flavor of the roasted tomatoes in it. It makes the breakfast tacos that they customize for us perfect.

I cannot express how good this food is! We tried it on a whim with door dash not knowing it was right around the corner. Barbecoa isn’t greasy for fatty but pure perfection. Rice and beans just like my grandma used to make. You know that moment you bite into food and it shoots you back to a childhood memory … this is what happens. I have only ordered the tacos but I’m so excited to try the tamales and please tell me they make gorditas!!

Our VRBO host recommended Mexican Tienda when I asked about catering for a large group. We needed fajitas for 16 men and we were able to get the entire meal prepared and ready to serve: beef & chicken fajitas, tortillas, grilled peppers & onions, rice, beans, cheese, onions & cilantro…YUM!! The guys LOVED every last bite!! Totally 5 stars!! Great food AND great service!! Many, many thanks!

I was told about this great Mexican food in Mabank. I live in across the lake and hadn't been here so I tried it out last Friday with a couple friends. I'm so glad I did to because the whole experience there was awesome. From the location, to the actual building and selection to choose from, great staff and service, the prices were affordable and reasonable too especially for the quality of the food as well as the taste. It was pretty spot on. I'm for sure going back to try out everything I can. My only issue I had and in my opinion (based from years of experience in the food industry and retail/csr) the lady that was to my knowledge managing or cooking, basically running it, seemed like she would be difficult to work and with based off of hearing the way she spoke to her employees like they were kids and was almost barking orders in a belittling or demeaning type of way never once praising them for doing their jobs right. I wouldn't want to work there for her at least but I would go for the food but get it to go to not have to sit and eat there and listen to all that. Js

We have ordered on DoorDash 3 times, and have never been disappointed. Such amazing tasty food, the prices cannot be beat, by far the best Mexican food we’ve had in the area. The torta, burritos, tacos, nachos, agua frescas, flan, and corn in a cup are out of this world! Definitely a must try. Thank you for your amazing customer service as well. You all go above and beyond for your customers, and that is very rare to see.

Absolutely the BEST breakfast burritos, I’ve ever had! This is authentic mexican food, made fresh. I can’t even describe the amazing mexican flavor. I don’t know how she does it. I am so glad we decided to stop by and try it out. My whole family agrees. So good!

Visited there Friday in time for breakfast tacos. I’ve been a big fan of La Guadalupana which is interestingly enough a few feet from the Mexican.tienda until now.
The breakfast tacos that were made custom for me, a vegetarian, were not only outstanding but my new favorite. The roasted red salsa that came with the breakfast tacos is now my new favorite salsa.
I always end up spending too much money when I go there, because I end up with Mexican dips and cheeses and a bunch of other stuff that I didn’t realize that I couldn’t live without until I got there. 😊

WOW I was blown away by the food and very friendly staff/owner. Family owned and operated with the best damn Torta's in the GBC/Mabank area! Also, got their meat, chkn breast, skirt and wings, all were hitting hard once grilled up. Even took their advice and rolled the ckn with cheese, japs and wrapped with bacon, most definitely was the way to go. Whether I'm cooking or they are, the food can not be beat and I will definitely stay coming back to my new favorite meat market!

went in for the first time today and OMG! I can NOT say enough great things about this place! the food is authentic! I've been looking for tamales for literally decades and they KNOW how to make it right! their street tacos are to die for! GREAT customer service! two thumbs up! very excited about this place and I hope they stay around for years to come. fyi you can also buy meat from there as well as other items including REAL MEXICAN VANILLA😁😁😁😁😁

Just ordered through DoorDash, and man. I was so close to thinking Mabank only had one good Mexican place, but this one just jumped to the top of my list. Absolutely amazing food, and the horchata brought me back to my childhood. Definitely recommend trying this place out!
