With the way economy keeps changing,having no car and only able to walk short distances,having a store that closes whenever they like to is rather questionable and inconvenient. And they close and lock out potential customers with seemingly a party inside. The phone is always off the hook. The prices change immediately from the ads to the price the cashier says is not negotiable. If I want a refund "the general manager aint gonma do it either.".. I was charged a dollar extra on my food stamps and they said the prices cannot be changed..... maybe a reading test needs to be conducted since yall are advocated literacy contributors..... WOW WHAT A MENTALITY TO ABE WORKING FOR ANY PLACE!!!

I'd like to see this place stay open and stocked, JUST TO BE ABLE TO GET GROCERIES, but if the 2 locations I normally shop at keep closing at 3pm, that means y'all are sending business to Wal Mart, FAMILY DOLLAR, AMAZON, AND I'M SENDING REVIEWS TO DG CORPORATION.
Please message me as to why your store is conducting price changes and not ringing things up.

They have all of the things the FD and DG dont. I always end up at this store to get needed items. Stores cool, workers are cool. I am headed there now BTW. Need craft supplies. Your selection usually beats out the $199.99 Tree.

Pretty awesome after holiday sales I think they discount with people in mind I got some awesome deals on some jars which I paid $0.60 or I would have paid a dollar at Dollar Tree if they had them in stock which they usually don't at Dollar Tree so I call it a win..
Anyway it's a really good way to get holiday decorations for next year if you go there after a holiday I went to a Family Dollar closer to where I live and they didn't even have half the markdown amount as Dollar General in my opinion both stores have their advantages don't get me wrong...
I do however think Dollar General has the better sales, while Family Dollar has a better selection of merchandise...

This store was recently remodeled. It's a little confusing for me because I have shopped there for several years but the layout now conforms to the other remodeled stores. The staff is very pleasant and helpful

My husband and I have a large family, (meaning a bunch of little kiddos , who btw pick and choose when to utilize their home training) the staff is very helpful, they really 'know' their store. Ive never had a question that they didnt have an answer for. Ive never heard the words " I dont know" And they are very kind to my kids,one of which has speacial needs, so they're great in my book.😊🤙

Best customer service, always busy stocking shelves making sure store is clean. Something for everyone and even stuff we don't need, but we buy... thanks

This location must have got some new Management.. because it had been a while since I'd been in there, the store was clean the shelves were stocked and the employees were friendly..
Day-and-night from my last experience

The store has come a long way. Please give them chance to get it together. I want what the public want, a store that had great service and people. The store had great customers also. Hang in there 4th and Lewis.

Usually good discounted items from refrigerator/pantry to baby items/auto. This place at this time was going thru mgmt change. Now new mgr is installed, lol, store clean, well stocked. And Christmas items ready to purchase at deep discounts.

Best franchise around small crowds and the new DGX dollar general exclusive stores have produce. All basic commodities you can buy at DG great for people on the go.

Amazing. Always a delightfully splendid time at the ol' DG. It holds a special place in my heart... I was conceived near the seasonal decor section, and later birthed right by the deoderant. These isles will forever hold the key to my heart.

The place is clean you can nothing.find items that you are looking for. HAVE baskets that you can but your items in. HAVE very good food very good you call.do not have to stand in line a very long at all have news paper you can. Buy

Customer service is always the best at the lewis location. Helpful and knowledgeable staff keep me coming back to this location more often than the one closer to my house.

The floor space in this DG is actually available for the customers to trod upon, as the items for restock are PLACED ON THE SHELVES here! A welcome relief from the standard jumbled mess of supply-carts and unopened boxes of product I usually have to step around and over at most Dollar General locations. Finding what I need on the shelf in a DG? Unheard of! Kudos, retail store minions. I salute you! :-)

No matter how busy they are someone always greets me when I walk in. How special is that. I'm usually in a rush so it's great dealing with a helpful crew.

Best customer service, been in town alot the last few weeks dealing with a kitchen trailer, my wife likes coming here (she says its because they are nice, its usually clean and she like to shop cheap) thanks dollar general for helping her spend 💰 (next time please be unorganized and messy...lol

This Dollar General is really moving up. Store is better stocked and employee's are working hard at keeping the store clean and free of riff Raff
