I've visited multiple times on my way through the area and I'm always impressed by their selection of local and regional food! A really nice range of alcohol as well. An added bonus, they have a super knowledgeable and friendly staff! I'll definitely be back!!

Great find in downtown Albion. This store, not far from Albion College, has a great mix of necessities and other maybe not necessities (candy, wine, etc). The store is reminiscent of an old time general store in it’s full high quality product range.

The Mercantile has a great selection of produce (keeps longer than most stores!), wine/beer and snacks. Its a great place for college kids too, easy walk from campus.

Friendly staff, great produce, and I literally found everything I needed to get dinner done and pick up some odds and ends. Their alcohol selection is the best in town. I know I will continue to shop there.

The store personifies the words, "small town" in the best possible way! The shop offers a wide variety of needs for a small community that doesn't want to go far; items such as fresh fruits, veggies and dairy products and meats for those last second dinners...but it also offers SO much more! The snack items range from fancy crisps to imported cheese that seem to illicit an, "oh neat" response when gazed upon. If you want some good spirits or wines to go with those snacks the store also has you covered with an intimate but high quality number of drinks to chose from! I'm so happy to have a small shop for our small town and I look forward to the surprises they will offer as word gets out!

Great produce with excellent prices, a wide variety of Michigan made products and great selection of wine, beer and spirits for whatever I need!
