A lot of people say how bad this gas station is, but let me remind you of a few things. I know the owners personally and they recognize these issues and why there are like that.
1. The restrooms are closed because everytime someone uses them, somebody does a bunch of graffiti on the wall. Those people ruin it for everyone. I have been in one of those restrooms. Besides, if you ask nicely, they will give you the keys to the other restroom.
2. The station has "bad employees" because it is in a bad area. In fact, all 7-Elevens, Valeros, Circle Ks, and other gas stations are having a shortage of employees. The owners said that they don't like hiring millenials that only want to work the cash register or be on their phones OR older people who smoke marijuana on the job. Those found doing this things are terminated as quickly as they can find another replacement, which is usually good for about 1 week before becoming like the rest.
3. The owners are fighting a continuous battle against panhandlers and solicitors, but it is a bad area, so they keep coming back. I am told that they are coordinating with the SAPD to fight this, it will take time.
4. Some of the people that I see reviews on (not just this page) are some of the people who have been run out of the gas station or they tried to steal. So be careful which reviews you trust. Trust local guides or someone who knows a lot about the place, like myself. I am not saying the place is perfect, but I feel that SOME bad reviews aren't fair.

I use the 7Now feature a load and it is very reliable. Place is clean amd management is great. Highly recommend checking out if you are in the neighborhood.
