A great event in Long Beach that raises money for a very worthy cause! If you don't enjoy going in the water enjoy the days activities at the beach. The Splash is growing bigger and bigger every year.

An event near and dear to my heart. The founders and thousands of others jump in to the Atlantic on Super Bowl Sunday to show support of the Make a Wish foundation. To support them you can buy a sweatshirt one of the local events or at EVan Creations in Oceanside, NY

I like the initiative raising money for causes but I haven't decided to take part. I think jumping in freezing water in winter season is a huge task. I guess thinking in terms of the person's your helping and their suffering in comparison with a few moments of uncomfortable frigid water's for you brings greater awareness towards mindfulness.
