If you think grocery shopping is a chore, think again! HEB in Weatherford just flipped the script, turning an ordinary day into a spectacle you'd have to see to believe. Let's set the scene: Mitch, a friend of ours, lost a Super Bowl bet and as his penance, transformed into the most endearing Donald Duck, complete with a feathery tailed bottom and the brightest yellow tights to walk this Earth, not to mention the blue sailor shirt, hat and red bow!

The floral department staff were the orchestrators of joy, providing Mitch with a clutch of yellow balloons, making sure he wouldn't float away as he did his best duck waddle through the aisles. Their laughter was infectious, echoing through the store as they encouraged Mitch to belt out "I'm a Little Teapot," complete with all the motions, in front of an audience of amused shoppers.

But the pièce de résistance? They paraded him to the checkout line, ensuring maximum visibility for our feathered friend. Each step he took in those webbed feet was met with chuckles and snickers, as shoppers reached for their phones to capture the moment. Mitch, ever the performer, took it all in stride, his beak-masked smile never wavering.

HEB isn't just a place for groceries; it's a hub of community spirit, where even a walk of shame becomes a parade of fun. The staff's sense of humor and their ability to create a memorable experience from a simple balloon request is worthy of a five-star review.

As for Mitch, there's talk of him waddling back into HEB for an encore. Maybe it's the friendly service, the quality products, or just the chance to spread more laughter. Whatever it is, HEB has our loyalty, and we can't wait to see what they—and Mitch—will come up with next. Quack on, HEB, quack on!

I love getting sushi from here! It's always delicious my favorite is the California Roll variety (Which is the pic) The employees are always friendly. Best part is sushi is 7$ on Wed!

VERY BUSY, A LOT OF PEOPLE. I felt like I was at 6 flags. The lines were not long, but moving around the store was a challenge. The check out lady was nice and told me to come early or late for less people. I was there at 2pm the day before Valentines. Store is very clean and many choices in products.

This is the best place for me everything is clean and all the service is amazing and the food is great for me I love this place

All HEB locations are automatically 4 stars in my book because HEB is awesome. But this one is 5 stars because it’s clean, organized, and almost always has everything in stock! The employees are helpful and nice. Checkout is super quick, even on busy weekends. Big store with lots of options!

We try to get to HEB at least once a month. We love their pure cane original sodas, their brand vanilla ice cream, the spicy charro beans, and the sushi! It can be crowded at any time, but it's still worth the 25 minute drive for us. We experienced great customer service when a red snapper we purchased was not bagged with our groceries (we realized this when we made it back home). I called and went back a few days later and they replaced it with a bigger red snapper and every employee was adamant to resolve the issue quickly.

I love HEB because their stuff is fresh they have tons of choices
AND they got the best HEB brand beans you can find anywhere and there's so many choices with the meat I'm never disappointed! I drive 14 miles of shop there!

Brand New H-E-B and was absolutely impressed with how clean the place was and how friendly the staff was! We probably visited at the wrong time with the Tornado warning alert on but the staff kept calm and kept all the customers safe within the middle of the store! Loved how fresh the grocery was and how organized and neat everything was! The gas station was also cheaper than most places but also clean! Absolutely love the environment in the area and would love to come back!

I shop here weekly for my family’s needs and normally I am unhappy with the baggers as they act like they don’t care But I was in yesterday Dec 23rd (extremely busy) and the young cashier Reed was very professional even under the extreme pressure I know he was under as well his bagger took much more care in bagging my groceries. These kids deserve some recognition for their Great work under pressure!

Good HEB store, only issue is it's extremely crowded every time I go. This isn't their fault though, and I think another will be built soon

Ok, ok, ok...we ALL know we love HEB. I love the selection and the prices and those darn hanging yellow coupons the MAKE me buy things I don't need...but darnit...they're on sale! I have been to three different HEBs...they are all pretty much the same. This one didn't have the big home section...which is good because I didn't need the extra temptation.

My only thing is there are SOOOO many people! (Which is a good thing for HEB). But this place gives me anxiety and I'm pretty laid back.

With all of the "Excuse me" and the "I'm sorry" from bumping into or in the way of other shoppers, I left there sweating and anxious from the extreme crowdiness. (is that a word? Lol)

Definately recommend taking anti anxiety meds before heading there...if crowds are not your thing 😅

My favorite grocery store by far! Always stocked, very clean, and the largest selection of items ever! If you havent tried them, HEB brand items are excellent!

Clean and full of great deals on all types of items. Fresh produce, love that you can print a price tag for produce from the weight scale. Happy seafood department still steams shellfish! I love H-E-B!

I love this store! Very well organized and the grand opening was so impressive! There is a Central Market vibe without the high prices. They have very affordable pre-made meals that my family is going to love. Thanks for coming to Hudson Oaks!

The best flavored sherberts! The pineapple is soo good! Add some Chamoy and tajin!taking!! I love the HEB brands, the spicy Italian salad dressing is amazing. It's not spicy just taste more seasoned. The Mango Chamoy is also amazing. I add extra to mine, it has no calories! Lol 🥰 I travel 25 mins to get my items lol 😂

Though it's always busy and chaotic that's just a part of being a beloved business. Usually the "personal shoppers" are busy and never really acknowledge you or move when they see you are trying to get by. However, Oscar was on point today. He was kind enough to pay attention to those around him while also doing his work. He was polite. I appreciate that.

My first time shopping at HEB today. It was amazing, so many different choices of food. Would love HEB even more if they would deliver where I live. (I live 12 miles away) A taxie costs me $120. I have no car. At least Walmart delivers.

Anywhere in the Fort Worth Dallas area go to Walmart or Kroger's lousy service the worst employees!! H-E-B rocks everybody's friendly helpful don't act like they're going out of your way to help you but there to help you I'll never stop at Walmart or Kroger's
