Chevron

Pretty much my 'go to place for gas and a drive-thru car wash. Davies Brother Chevron also features piping hot coffee, a soda bar plus snacks and goodies. Staff is always friendly and courteous.

I get my gas here most of the time. They also have a car wash which is $6 for the basic but you can get about $1 off if you fill your tank (10 cents off per gallon). They have air, water, window washer/squeegees with plenty of window cleaning solution and paper towels not to mention a mini store. Expect to pay more than here than other gas stations in the bigger cities. Still nice to have a local gas station. I totally support my local businesses and love this town.

They don’t accept EBT, no cash back but they’re always very clean and very friendly

The guy who works there most if the time is rude by nature. Whenever I have walked in the door, and he is working, he makes sure I know I have interrupted his life and totally inconvenienced him by simply being a customer. His body language, tone of voice, choice of words, and overall attitude makes me regret spending my money at Chevron. Unfortunately, when I've been a customer at Chevron it is not by choice but because where I wanted to shop has closed for the day.

He seemingly has never been told, learned or cares that customers spend money, that money is then used, in part, to provide him with a paycheck.

Suprisingly, he has worked at Chevron for at least the past 5 years I've been shopping there, and it is incomprehensible the management and/or ownership are unaware of his distain for customers. By allowing him to continue behaving in this manner while staying an employee, they either agree with his perception of customers or he's related to management and/or ownership.
